Hey guys!
This my fiirst post.
I have a Quesion, thers a Run world Called Famine and it says its onlt 4 hammers and axes well i would like to equip my druid with it and i would like to socket it in a maul (Ogre....) but im not sure if the maul fall into the hammer category
If someone knows plizzz tell me thanx

welcome to the druid forums!

ogre mauls are considered mauls :)
so therefore...
found in the arreat summit site (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords.shtml):
Hammers = War Hammer, Maul, Great Maul, and Exceptional/Elite versions.

edit: you may want to try to use a faster weapon for a druid...
what kind of druid is it?
famines could be pretty slow.

well im gonna make a Solo Druid u know like the one in the strategy guide
the thing is druids are fast with mauls and with famine u get even faster

no its not.
do not refer to the fast and very fast attacks for druids.
you may see very fast, but its not actually very fast.

do you have a hellslayer? equip on your druid and attack with it. now equip a 6 sheal phase blade and attack with it. both may say fast/very fast attack speed, but the attack frames difference is HUGE.

i see, if he wants to famine an ogre maul, it will be pretty slow, even if it would say very fast attack speed.

this my fist char so i dont have goos stuff to trade 4
