View Full Version : What is the record damage u have taken from a monster and lived?

Yesterday my vita lancer was charged by a defiled warrior (the pindleskin type) with fanat and me being amped for a total of 5100 damage :). Good job i have 5600 life with bo (gogo 570 vita :) ). Anyone had any experience of a single monster being able to deal such insane numbers? (Exclude the FE explosions please).

Really if you have 570 vita what aer in str, dex?..

yesterday such a bugged snake down with nithilack toke a smack at me...

i didn't realy look how much dmg it did, but in 1 hit over 3/4th of my red buld was gone.

lucky was i to be a vita barb with BO AND oak active at that time, granting me close to 6K life.

i don't really know the amount of dmg, since i rejufed as fast as i could, before smacking his head in. but it must have been over 4K :scratch:

How would you know the amount of life he took off?

I mean, did you just stand there, and check your life bulb first, before juvving/killing him?

Could have left the game instead of juving, and saw it when created a new game?

The worst I have seen and lived through was in 1.09. Lived through being the key word. I was running Hell Meph and my sorc orb-ed a group of monsters without looking first. Mixed in with the vampire looking monsters were dolls of course. One of the dolls blew up and took all of my mana shield (1100) and took my health (1200) down to less than 50. I saw the explosion animation and gave a quick alt & f4. It may have been more than one, but I only saw one explosion.

Early on in the ladder, I was rushing for the top spots with a sorc. I had a HOTO, therefore having a Oak sage. I had been BO by a barb of a very high lvl as well. I was having 3.8k life and 1.8k mana with a lvl 15 ES and 12 TK. Took the stair down to throne, teleported once and BAM (Save/Exit) super quick. I'm not sure what happened but in a matter of a second my life went to 1/20th or so. I didn't had time to check what was there really, but I believe I've saw two rather nasty auras (might/fanat) and was cursed from the Obliveons on 3rd floor. I'm not sure of the math that can be applied there to measure what kind of life I lost. But I was 0 mana and 200 life when I came back.

from 4.5 K down to 1 life... then I turned into silly humie mode and Talic finished me off with his last WW hit....

bye bye 5.9 K life bear in 1.09... I had 7.5 K with BO and Oak.

My strength and dex are both base (thanks to enigma light plate :) ) which brings it to almost 200 with all items equipped, and using a 2handed weapon pretty much negates any need for dex.. but yea i killed most of the boss pack only boss was left so i wwed into him bam! charges i quit.. join a new game and woah 5100 life gone ~~.
