Fire Blast Bug???

I was dueling with my friend who is a light trapper and he states his FB does 9.7 k dmg...im thinkin this was immpossible but he said there is a skill that gives a syn to FB but doesnt show...anyone heard of this or know how to get FB to 9k dmg?

Theoretically, an slvl 99 Trapper with:

40 FB
20 LS
20 CBS
20 SWeb
10 DS

Would only get a 4500 average damage FB. Even if somehow he had a 4 socket armor and a 3 socket helm filled with perf. Fire Facets, he'd do only do 8201 Fire damage(and this is after the -resist of the facets). He would be able to breach a 10k FB with an additional 4 socket shield with 4 perf. Fire Facets, but I highly doubt he'd be able to survive with 3 major equipment slots devoted to Facets....

The thing with fireblast is prolly the same as with claw mastery spawning on claws. The item lvl where +skills can spawn on are to high for low lvl skills to spawn on. :D

If that's true.... You have no idea how much time I've wasted on trying to find +3 Trap Claws with Fire Blast. :P

im guna try to get a screeny of his dmg and ill see if i can put it up

btw..he uses 2x, 3 trap /3 ls claws both 2 socketed with 2 5/5 fire facets in each (+20%/-20%)
