Pretty much every type of chicken, I love it. Anyone who lives in Canada knows what i mean when i say Swiss Chalet chicken is the best, especially the gravy and dipping sauce! And who doesnt like Kentucky fried chicken!

Everybody here should post their favorite types of chicken.

Mine would have to be:
the usual baked chicken w/ gravy and mashed potatoes,

followed very closely by:

'chicken katsu',
a japanese type of chicken that i had never even heard of until i moved to Hawaii!

EDIT: 1 more thing: can anyone post some really great chicken recipes?

It's hard to beat home-cooked Southern-Style Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

Marinade
Buttermilk - 1 pt.
Cayenne Pepper - 1 tsp.
Garlic, freshly chopped - 1 Tbsp.
Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp.
Onion, peeled and minced - 1 Tbsp.

Chicken legs, thighs and drumsticks separated - 10 each
Oil, for frying - 4 cups
Flour, seasoned - 2 cups
Salt - To taste

Method of Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine ingredients for marinade, add chicken, and marinate for 1 hour.
Drain and pat dry.
3. Heat oil in an appropriate pan for shallow-frying to 350 degrees F.
4. Dredge the chicken in flour, and shake off any excess.
5. Place the chicken into the hot oil and fry evenly, turning once,
until golden brown.
6. Remove chicken from oil, and place on a sheet pan lined with absorbent
paper. Lightly season with salt. Transfer chicken to a wire rack set on
a sheet pan.
7. Bake chicken in preheated oven until the internal temperature is 165
degrees F.

Simple, huh?
And quite tasty to boot!

Buffalo wings.

They have to be mostly salt and grease and bones too much meat they arent as good.

The sauce has to be hot enough that your lips are burning for at least an hour after you eat them.

Serve with Blue cheese dressing and beer.

some of my favorites:
Wing basket
Hooters (seriously, only for the wings and buffalo shrimp! :innocent: )
This dive pool joint in town (forget what it's called now)
:drink:

I got some horribly tasting chicken the other day. It was marinated in something when I bought it, I forget what it was.

Anyway, it tasted like it had been schnapps-marinated! Disgusting I tell ya.

Chicken in wing form.
Chicken in Swiss Chalet form is pretty decent, although I prefer their ribs when I'm there.
Chicken in KFC form is always good, specifically drumsticks. Doesn't have to be KFC, just any form of fried chicken legs are good.
Chicken stew in a bread bowl at Timmies is good on occaision.

Other than that I greatly disapprove of chicken, it's a psychological thing I think...too much of it when I was a kid when I'd rather have had Kraft Dinner.

I love to cook, so I like any kind of chicken so long as its homemade, but my favorite is chicken marsala.

Easy but fun...marinate chicken in Italian dressing and then throw it on the grill. Very tasty.

Nice recipe Christor, but I'd let the meat marinate in buttermilk overnight, then maybe add in the rest of the ingredients for just the last hour... results in juicier, more tender meat.

I'm a sucker for the oven-roaster, mostly because my family can only eat about half of the thing, so we have leftover meat in the fridge for a week or so... great snack. Plus Stove Top stuffing with gravy is soooo good.

I've also had my stints with General Tso's Chicken and Pad Thai (technically a noodle dish I guess).

Light up the charcoal with some added wood chips soaked in water. Whatever chicken pieces are your favorite, turn and lightly brush with the BBQ sauce, turning every 4-5 minutes (depending on heat of your grill, don't want to burn the sauce) and reapplying BBQ sauce. Gives it a wonderful coating of BBQ goodness.

I personally like it better with the skin removed and some homemade BBQ sauce.

Best chicken pie you can make is with leftover slow smoked chicken. I burn mostly oak in my New Braunfels banderra smoker, and that would make cardboard taste good.
