WF question..

The people that have killed a monster and had a WF drop from that monster, where did it happen? D2data has it listed as the most droped in WSK and i try to avoid that place at all costs. Pindle is listed but after the nerfing it might take years to see one at the rate stuff is dropping off him when i go kill him.

Stick to the pit with high magic find. Hydra Bow is in a TC below 87 so it should be droppable by even regular monsters in that area.

It could take a year anyhow, wherever you MF. Your best bet is to do Hellforge quests over and over and trade one for runes..its probably faster.

Put I guess Pit, Eldrich, Shenk are kind of safe (can they drop it?). Pindle is not only nerfed, but can be scary these days as well with all those charging undeads around him. Don't even like to go there in NM...well unless to raise corpses there..

I got one from Hell Pindle 1.10. The only WF I ever found.

I agree that rushing a character for Hell Forge quest is the easiest way to get a WF. You may get one with UM to IST rune, and Hell Forge can drop any of those runes. If you have a friend to partner with you, a good sorc can rush a char to Hell Forge in about 2 hours. Good luck.

BTW, my 8% WF is for trade if you are on USEast.

id say pindle u get a descent amount of exp by repeatedly doing runs and hes really easy with the 1.10 fb sorcs with mf gear on thats how i got my two best drops from doin about 100 runs i got a ik armor and a nice % gf but there were also the days when i could do 200-300 runs and get crap crap and more crap

I got my 8ml WF from an Oblivion knight in Chaos Sanctuary, as well as many other things including a Ber rune :) (Both these drops were in regular game play) Chaos Sanctuary is a lvl 85 area, so any monster in there could drop it. It's a good place to MF for a Bowazon, since you're not affected by the Iron Maiden that troubles melee chars.
