best build to beat lvl 18 chargers

the hc lld scene is full of lvl 18 noob chargers that use clegs sword...and im tryin to think of a build around lvl 18 required but maybe even lvl 20-21 is ok...looking for a build that will kill a lvl 18 charger, any ppl have some suggestions?

A conc barb with lots into shout and max block. Just use walk mode and charge won't KB you, then when he stops in front of you, smack him.

Only problem with a conc barb is that you will not be attacking very fast at lvl 18, so the charger may be able to get away before you have a chance to connect.

A character with a faster attack might be better suited, like a zealot maybe.

Best build is a lvl 25 kicksin. I know 25 is a tad high, but hey, chargers do crazy dmg anyway.

I play hardcore and no lvl 18-24 charger has won against my 25 kicksin. They all use chickenhack and chicken every time.

Kickers are the devil. Everyone uses bloody chicken so I'd say dont waste your time. If you must counter them, make the most uber charger ever....6x Carbuncle jewels of Carnage War axe, fill your armour and helm and sheild with the same.


Then, get ready for a whole new world of insults as you cleave their chicken hacking bodies to rich, pastey peices....



If you could get 17 Carbuncles of Carnage that is.

Youre so popular NS ;) Yeah, I play hardcore too, and these idiots are not actually that hard to beat. Most of them dont know how to duel, they just know how to click enough times to leech to 18 and throw all their points into might/charge, most are not all that bright, and can be easily beaten with a decent build. Possible builds:
A. If you want to beat them, but realize that 95% have chickenhack, and you will not get their ear.
-Jabber, 18-16
kicksin, usually level 25
zealot, 18-27
B. You have a better shot at getting their ear, though you lose the originality points ;)
-A better charger, their chickenhack wont save them from a 1 hit ko, 18-27 (27's will BURN the chickenhackers, none of them have 2k life, which is what a pure damage level 27 charger can do (pvp dmg, not pvm)
- A leaper, 24-27

matt, you mentioned a leaper? i thought leap attack was bugged so did very low damage (1/10 or 1/20)?

No, leap attack isn't bugged as far as I know.

the leap attack guide, which was written in the beta but has been updated states that tests showed 1/100 damage being done. i hoped this would be fixed but the guide has been updated and booyakasha hasnt mentioned it.

if it is no longer bugged, leapers could work amazingly as duelers with a bit of practice, their damage is huge (!!!).
