View Full Version : Zealot resistances
Even without going the pvp route (stoutwoods guide +godly expensive gear), my zealot is lacking resists. how do you get your zealot max/high resists?

If your "godly expensive gear" contains a HoZ, try replacing it with a 4 pdiamond "chromatic" paladin shield or a 3 socketed Sanctuary chromatic paladin shield for extra mods.
With some charms you shall do fine.
Shield, Amu, Rings are a good place to get res.
Kira's Diadem can give a goodly chunk as well, and free up a CBF spot.

Or even a simple Ancient Pledge in a shield with 40+ resists does quite nice. Or seriously consider that new runeword Duress (should be awesome for a zealot), a Smoke runeword armor (if ya cant fix the resists with shield). If you find a 2 socket Paladin shield with resists, Rhyme can give a nice additional bonus too.

Keep a 4 perfect diamond pally shield that has inherent resistances (one that has 40 - 45 resists already) on your switch, or use salvation.
Well here is the problem...his gear looks kinda like this:
Ber ber COA
Highlords
Eth cleaver
Chains of honer
Exile eth vortex with 22 res
draculs
raven/raven or raven/bk
verdungos
gores
because of this gear setup, I can't really change anything. So i think charms is the only place to improve....unless I find a 45 res eth vortex.
With that stuff and the anya quests, I'll have....
30+30+65+22 which makes 147 to all resistances.
that gives me 47 to all in hell. This means that I either have to A.) spend 2 ist's to buy 6 5res charms....or....just live with what I have. I'll have to do some experimentation...
Edit: Totally forgot about my anni. That will add 15-20 more which means I'm fine. Holy cow im ********....
