Well thats what i thought...I had a trade that I thought was to good to be true.

Unid Death Fathom and Tals armor for my plain P&B GC. The Fathom was Unid and made sure it was a dimenisonal shard to start with. Then after he said good luck with your high lvl Occy and I was like oh great. So me and friend upgraded something unid and it upgraded but also id it too.

at start of 1.10 i think it was possible to upgrade unided stuff but it was corrected after a few weeks.

Normally I dont support that kind of thing but whoever was the first to come up with upping a junky unique to look like something really good....

that is pure genius and very hillarious. I'm just pictureing it now:
