Valk question

sometimes when I cant my valk *I am lvl 31* she has a different color of armor usually yellow or blue. What does that mean?

Red armour: +life
Blue armour: chance to cast Nova when struck
Gold armour: not sure
Silver armour: Maybe increased defense based on char level

Red weapon: Life leech
Black weapon: Cruel mod

However, these assumptions are based on the appearances of magical armours on characters. In the case of the blue armour they seem true, as Nova is cast around the Valk a lot in a fight.

The different colors depend on what items they spawn with, at higher levels they get rare elite items which I believe are spears, armors, amulets, belts and gloves.
Anyway, colors can be different things - black weapon could be cruel, or it could be +10 minimum dmg for example blue armor is usually chance to cast something but could also be +mana and so on :)

can you check to see what they have on like you can do with your Merc by hitting "o"?

No....in fact the only time you can even click (see) minions names (and sometimes resistances) is when you want to enchant them.
