Best PKK Build

I just started on HC about a week ago, and every one of my freakin chars have been TPPK'd by Necros or what have u. My question to you guys is what is the best PKK build I am sick and tired of getting PK'd!

No such thing... also PvP is expensive, and since you've just started HC you won't have the required equipment to make a viable PKK.

My suggestion to you is to make a cookie cutter MF char... Fishymancer, meteorb, blizzardress, hammerdin, windy druid, etc... and find some good equip to make a PvP char.

Or if you have a mean streak in you now... explore LLD... their equipment is relatively cheap and it isn't a big time investment.

if you mean to pkk at low levels (Less than 30) then you need to keep a few things in mind:

High Life: this obviously is key because well... duh

Max Block: most pk chars go for a 1 or 2 hit kill, if you have 75% chance that they wont get that hit their morale drops, I should know its happened to me ;)

Damage does not necessarily need to be huge as a pkk, most pk's now a days have chicken so you aren't going to get them but hopefully you'll teach them a lesson.

If I were u I'd worry about getting through the game PvM before going PvP.

Sounds like you need a good mf'er and have problems recognizing PK'ers.

Trying LLD or PKK would only further humble you.

Well, I have been very weary of PKers, but my 1st baal run some 46 necro just hostiles me and TPPK's me.. :-/

Here is another observation:

unless you already have an itembase going (and you don't) whay are you doing public runs for exp: You can get exp from doing solo runs vs normal baal or meph or what have you. Then you get to keep the best of the drops you get. Questing throguh act 1 NM solo will get you levels from 30 to about 40. I did 50 or so NM countess runs with my char I'm working on now to get from level 40 to 50. Result: I have quite a few semi-descent runes now. Already have semi good rares or better in every slot because on the way to 40 I solo baal, meph, and diablo a bunch of times. Would some players already have level 80? sure. And absolute crap for equipment and no gold also and probobly nothing good muled off. So if the char dies it was a total waste in terms of helping you become established on that realm.

you dont need 400 mf to get good stuff from running act bosses. It helps for sure but I had a grand total of 6% on when Normal Baal dropped my Tal Rasha's amulet.

ahh that makes sense then. maybe your friends can PA you and do a few cow runs for you that ought to get you around 30?

Get someone to enchant you in a free enchant game (careful though, in case the sorc wants to pk u) and lvl up to 30 in a matter of about 1 hour.

Just wondering, but are you expecting to kill the necros that have been TPPK'ing you? If so, good luck catching one off guard let alone killing one.

eh... it's street smarts... when they hostile you leave. There's a time delay before they can take TPs or WPs. It's not long but it's enough to leave. If you want to annoy them just open a TP and go to town and ALT+Tab to another application and get some work done. THey'll waste a lot of time and loose interest eventually.

You are getting trigger killed (or TPPK - town portal PK). The necro sits behind you, waits for the opportune time, and then spams bone-spirit your direction and then uses a hack (99% of them use the hack) to cast a town portal, goes to town, and hits hostile.

Just DONT DO RUNS WITH NECROS, certainly not with necros higher than lvl 50. And boost your life as much as possible. Supposedly windforce zons and tornado druids can also TPPK.

ALWAYS take a few seconds to scope out who is in the game - levelwise, and characterwise. And always use your spider-sense to leave a game when things just don't seem right. ALWAYS pay attention to who joins when you're playing.

And at the sound of hostile, save+exit or town portal and go to town.

anyway jmiranda... have you tried putting TP scrolls on your belt? That way you can just hit the keypad and go. It won't help in these situations. The other option is just play with people you trust. Hang out in the chat room, create a friends list, password games only.

It's a pain but it keeps you alive. Or you can just keep your MF char in solo games only. Then mule equip to non-MF chars.

When he gets TPPKd by a necro or zon using that hack you could have anything you want in your belt and it wont help much. those bone spirits can kill most chars in one hit and it happens faster than the graphics can even come up on the screen so having tp scrolls in your belt while its a good idea will not save you from TPPK.

What will save him is not being so greedy and trying to get to level 80 in half a day doing public Baal runs. That and learning that if you insist on doing public Baal runs, don't go anywhere near the necros and zons.

If as hes saying he has a group of friends that play they could do private runs and not have to worry about it.

I am very wearry (sp) now of who plays in the game with me and such.

I do like hardcore and I don't see myself leaving HC play anytime soon. I enjoy the new sense of pride also from starting over and everything. I think it should be fun. I will just play private games and stuff untill I get high enough to where people won't mess with me or what have you. Soloing is more peaceful anyways, you don't get annoying people bugging you for enchant and "itams"

don't play with necros over lvl 30 or high lvl zons. That way you should be safe enough to get a few HC chars into high lvls yourself.

Then once you have enough gear, tppk the bonecros before they tppk you...

why not a TPPKKer? After all people who don't like PK have been building low level PVP built chars specifically to take out the PKers for years and years. How would making a P&B necro and TPPKing the known TPPKers be any different?

As long as you are only killing the ones who are going around being numbskulls what's the problem in it? At some point if this problem is going to be sloved at all I think clearly the realm players have to stop waiting for Blizzard to step in and take whatever action they can take to solve this problem themselves.

Also I'm sorry but ridding the realms of TPPKers who go into game after game trying to kill other players at random does not make you just like them in any way. If the only way to beat those cheaters and lamers is by being cheap and lame to them so be it. they sort of forfeitted their right to be treated with any respect or sportsmanship.

I say go for it.

I havent beedn pked so far, always try to be on the opposite side of nec, preferably with other party members in the middle. Also cast decoy and such. Several times necs/zons shoot in my direction, exited before projectiles reached me.

The way cleglaw worded it made it seem (to me) that jmiranda should go out a tppk all bone necros he can find. The problem with tppkk'ing (other than the fact of it being illegit), is you would have to clearly identify tppk'ers, going around in games until a few show up... Then you would have to catch the tppk'er off-guard which would be a formidable task in itself.

I'm not saying hunting tppk'ers with a tppk is impossible, just impractical and it makes you almost as bad as they are (for exploiting a bug).

It's a double-edged sword.

Pkers are just punks and bedwetters who suck their thumbs. Best way to deal with them is:
Always leave town last
If you use wp get away as fast as you can from it after you go through
If playing in run trail behind everyone else
if anyone opens portal pay attention
if you want to eventually loose your account use the chicken in mh.
don't play with necro's or zons
if you see that another charactor is wearing pants with stains on them then leave game cause they are bedwetters.......

chicken is lame. chicken duelers are even worse since 1 hit kills are the only sure way.

I'm happy tho, just pkked a 24 pally who used chicken with my kicker. Time to hunt for the other one....
