How Much Ya Bench! (whats your Ping?)

I have some pretty well built and geared characters but my main source of pain is my ping. I live overseas, and even though i have a T-1 Cable connection (I live next door to the ISP) my normal ping to USEast games is 300-350. I do ok but often lose duels I should have easily won for obvious ping related reasons. I have no problems PVM even DC is a 30 sec snap. I just wonder what the rest of the worlds Ping is like=)

Usually around 70. If i turn on kazaa or some other prog (uploading 10kb/s) then it goes to 115~. If i lag it can go up to 10k.

My record for highest ping is somewhere over 23,000, with about 150-200 frames skipped ( I forget ) , but on my new comp I run around 100 all the time.

I'm the one who voted 25 or less. On good days I have 20 ping, on average 30, and at times when everybody has 300 I have 100. I really love it :D

i play from hawaii to uswest. 115 is my average, although on school days @5-8am EST i can get 72-80 once in a while.

ps. i'm on time-warner's cable modem. since they switched to the toshiba modems, i've lost about 10% speed. when they had motorolas, it was much faster. on downloads i used to get 1.5-3 meg/sec. now i'm lucky to get 1 meg, usually 800k.

I play on USEast from Kansas and get pings in the 60s and 70s most times, however I do get some huge lag spikes from time to time.

Lately I've been having problems with my ping. It's incredibly jumpy going anywhere from 40 to 1180. Desyncing has become rather regular, which is surprising, considering the fact that up until two weeks ago, I was at a rather constant 70 ping.

LOL i would live to have 200=( 300 to 350 is norm for me I wonder what i would do if i had a sub 50 ping, Prolly spend even more quality time onlne.

Hi.. I voted under 25, since most of the time i'm at 10-20 ping.. I play on the Europe and have the same isp that's actually hosting the EU realm..

Im usually around 70 to 90...but then around 3:00 when all the kiddies get of school im at 150-200...still quite livable tho!

I Suppose if you optimized your PC and had the fastest hardware possible and were running nothing but windows and D2 it might help a little but mostly you are at the mercy of the bandwidth gods and ISP's

I'm from SPAIN and I connect to EUROPE. My connection has a ping between 140 and 180, enough for play decently and without lags. I voted over 150.
My connection (ADSL 256/128) is not the fastest one, but is really stable and enough to play.
