View Full Version : Ladder -VS- Non (Difficulty)
I think I remember reading that Ladder is more difficult than non ladder. I am not taking into account Ladder Rune upgrades or Ladder only Uniques. Are there any players who are on both that can confirm this?
Thank you in advance.

I play a bit of both, Ladder is supposed to be more difficult in terms of monster AI, meaning that every 'normal' monster is supposed to act like a champ (faster etc.). That being said, I really can't tell much of a difference, Blizzard says it's harder, so I'll take their word for it, I just really can't see it.

I think ladder monster have more HP.
I don't play on either, but I can confirm that there are two distinct data sheets used for monster values on ladder (+ single player) and non-ladder.
Just comparing them by eye, I can see that for eg a level 60 monster...
Defence is the same in normal, about 20% higher in ladder in NM and H.
Attack is the same in all difficulties in both.
Hitpoints are the same in normal and NM, and 30% higher in ladder in Hell.
Damage is the same in both.
Exp is the same in both.
So, the differences aren't huge, but they exist.
