Helm for Delerium?

Ok I know all the popular/preffered open socket items for exile, sanctuary, botd, etc...

Delerium is a word I am looking forward to making, and I wonder what is (in your opinion) the best helm for it?

I used a Bone Visage. The defence on that Delirum I made was 401. I have seen higher def. though. Not sure if it is the best helm, but it worked for me.

You should also consider the strength.

Most People us a 3 soc Bone Visage, it is the best all arround choice for delirium I have seen.

I made a new delirium for my Dexazon with a (Superior 15% ED 3 soc Diadem) mainly because I wanted that kewl "Pony Tail" look zons have with a diadem and BV's look common and pretty ugly.
Delerium and the XX% chance to cast a lvl XX "Confuse makes all those packs of monsters attack each other and pretty much ignore me and my 98 Merc and Valk, then its strafe or Multi spam till everything is dead, best item I ever got for my Zon.

Yeah I made mine in a tiara and got around 300 def with it..and it looks awesome on zons I agree!

I guess it really depends on what you're going to use it for. I have made a couple of them.

My first one was in a 3 socket tiarra, My reasoning was, it had no strength requirement, therefore if I never made another one, I could use this one on any character, no matter what their strenght was.

The second one I made was an upgrade for my amazon, I made it in a diadem, it ended up having 3 more defense than the tiarra, not really worth it. But again, it was mainly for the no strenght requirement.

The third one I made was in a bone visage, mainly for the cool looks and good defense for relitively low strenght requirements.

If you're making it for a merc, you might as well find the highest defense ethereal helm you possibly can.

I have a superiour (13%ED/11%Max Dur.) 3 socket Bone Visage sitting on a mule right now, that I haven't decided what to do with.

Conan is right, I know that I woulden't play my zon anymore without this helm, it is amazing, the confuse goes off ALL the time. It's amazing for the pits, and for my LF zon, it's pretty much all she needs to deal with Lightening Immunes, let them kill each other.. :)

Thanks for the input, I will probably search for a tiara because i personally like the ponytailed look as well. Good point on the no str requirement, another good reason!

I suppose it all depends on what type of character you are playing, but a barb only helm would be great for a barb if you think about it...
with +2 and all the presets you coulf get +5 to bo, the mastery you want, and something else...but i spose the spells wouldnt be as effective...yea a tiara is a good choice, specially for a zon. :scratch:
