Making a lvl 9 pally dueler going for sacrifice and might I suppose.

Gear
3s Crown with maxes
4s Gothic Plate with maxes
4s Pally Shield with Ar/ed with maxes
Sigs boots, gloves and belt
Nagelrings???
haven't found a ammy yet

For the questions:

What weapon, was thinking: Cleglaw, Blood crescent, eth Stoutnail, crushflange or 6s military pick. Any thoughts?

1 point in smite worth it?

Please comment on this, much appreciated

I use angelic jewelry dunno whats exactly better but angelic has nice bonuses to AR and life, Also i use Deaths gloves and belt cause of high psn res and cannot be frozen also it has a 30% ias wich is very damn nice :P

For a weapon i would go for a fast one like crystal sword or st like that because eventualy slow weapons will get you annoyed :D

Woops thought you were making lvl 18 :D dunno what to use there :D But i know you have to gamble for rings with +2 dex +2 str life and other nice bonusses on them. Also an amy with life +5 dex +5 str would be nice

Ah thanks for the response if not exactly relevant :). Of course gamble I didn't even consider that. What level should be best to do that like 6 or 8? Also full death is that viable?

Full deaths is an OK choice if you don't mind spending 71 pts into str to equip the sword. But if you're going to use a gothic plate, you might as well.

6 socket military pick with 6 x 9 maxers is a decent choice too. I have a feeling you will be attacking too slowly if you use sigons boots/gloves/belt. I would recommend using deaths gloves/belt, especially if you use the sword. Then you could use sigons boots and sigons helm with a 9 max jewel for a big AR boost.

Nagelrings are OK, 70+ ar rare rings with +stats, max dmg, etc... are even better. For an ammy, look for one with +str, dex, ar, etc... Don't expect something fantastic.

1 point in smite is not worth it really because at such a low lvl, it will do hardly any dmg, and most lvl 9 smiters specialize their gear to maximize open wounds and crushing blow to do their dmg for them. They don't rely on the actual smite dmg.

thanks for the reply, my thought on smite was to get the unblockable, auto hit, stun attack to follow up with the killing blow. Why is sigons slower than death? isn't it +30 ias on both? That would give that sigons + cleglaws is faster since longsword is -10 while warsword is 0. The deadly strike on cleglaws those that mount to insane damage boost. Atm my damage boost from sacrifice is 225% and might 50% and I do 14-470 damage what would that yield on a deadly strike?

As I said I'm a Noob on dueling so any thoughts suggestions taken

Hmm what realm? ladder or not? hardcore or not?

I've faced a lot of sacadins but I've never really been close to losing to one.

I think the problem with them is they lose the life if they hit or not(I think) so even if you block or they miss because you have a lot of defence there gonna take damage, then with you hitting them.....

I personally would go with a javazon, barb, or assassin but thats me.

But the 71 str for the sword is fine most of lvl 9 duelers life comes from 15life lcs stats don't add that much

BTW does anyone know why my screen is shaking just a little bit, it's like when you have a mechanical toothbrush in your mouth and you watch screen it looks shakey but I'm not brushing my teeth...

I'd go with Cleg's sword and sigons. Switch on deaths belt if you need for ppl using cold (but I guess your HC so.... guess you don't really get a chance at a retry if you loose the first one to switch gear huh?) Do ppl really use poison at level 9? Sigons gives you high AR and Def and since you have 70 str for sigons, you can use high str armor like gothic or even ancient armor with the right jewels. Just my input. Good luck.

Gamble for rare jewelry with a lvl 14 char, be prepared to spend at least 10 million gold before getting a ring with +2 str/70+ ar though..

i would disagree knarl... I personally hate deaths sword, the set bonuses from full deaths as compared to deaths gloves+belt just dont do it for me.. I'd rather have a wrath'd clegs, 50% DS is too much to pass up.

if you need speed go with a 9 max blood crescent, but a wrath'd celgs sword is definatly the best choice, 50 ds can give mucho damage.

Not sure about lvl req, but you might take a look at the 'malice' and 'strength' runewords.

el rune is lvl 11 so you can't use any runewords at lvl 9
