I had some nice duels with xe-revolution. If you still want more duels to confirm the fact that visible hammers can kill barb, then maybe we can setup more duels. Just don't call in the other bm **** roaches that screwed up our private duels at the end.

I had 5 duels with XE-revolution barb and one duel with the *BLOB barb (one of the many that crashed my 1:1 private duel between me and revolution). The barbs had a grand total of 0 win.
I left because *blob started to cry after he lost about how bmed meditation is when I tele away for a few seconds to regenerate mana (In those last duels, I had no gold left and was down to the last 3 or 4 mana pots which I wanted to save for when I really needed them). BTW, to *BLOBs (whoever u r on this forum), how did a 6k+life barb regenerate over half of his total life in less than 30 seconds by himself?

Wishes druid had meditation* I get about 850 mana with my fc/mana rings and I still run out.
I have never ever seen anyone complain about meditation. Thats the worst excuse for losing EVER. And you know the barbs were using mana pots to keep up ww. The only time I have seen a good hamerdin lose to a barb is when he was caught by surprise.
As for the healing...Barb smacks a few zombies/fallen and BAM insta heal. If there were no monsters layin around then it musta been some Massssive rep life. Cause they would never cheat and use a healing pot right? /sarcasm
Barbs can be one of the best duelers for sure. But hammerdin just has too much advantage over melee.

True, but are mana pots really bm? Killing someone by waiting for them to run out of mana isn't really that fun. And besides, its his skill. Necros can recast bone armor and that is like potting(free health instantly). You don't ask him to quit using concentration because it makes his hammers do a ton more damage. Meditation is just an advantage hammerdins have. Technically its even nicer then mana potting. With a mana pot you don't really have to stop and do anything other then hit a button. With meditation you have to switch auras and wait. The barb was only struggling to find a excuse for losing. He could of at least blamed it on lag or an act of god(thats my excuse) or something. Meditation will not win a duel for you. The only annoying part of it I could see is the pause in the duel.

Personally, I think it's a complete waste of hammerdin use by dueling barb. But since a few arrogant barbs who claimed that good barb > good hammerdin (or tele hammerdin), so I wanted to see what they are made of...
About the use of mana potions and meditation: first of all the first 2 or 3 duels with xe-revolution, I had full mana potions at the start and I never had to use meditation once in those duels. The last few, I was down to 5 or 6 mana potions at the start, so I only used mana potion when I was low on mana, and really needed to finish him off as I got him to do a ww in the direction I wanted. Otherwise, i just went 2 screen away for few secs to regenerate mana and save my mana potions.
About this comment of yours, if you don't know anything about paladin, then don't make vague statement like this in order to argue a serious issue as heal-potting in duel. To give u an example, to regenerate 700 mana, I needed about 6 seconds. With the +skills I have to prayer and meditation synergy, I heal 45life in that 6 seconds. So can u tell me how is meditation the same as using healing potions? or leeching off monsters (in case of mr. blobs or dumbpig)?
EDIT: you may tell a joke by saying that +45life is the same as using the small healing potion that you buy in act1 normal.

Those are reeaaal useful. Right up till you get more than 45 life. Oh wait. You start with 50ish. They are just like pennies. Completely useless except for throwing at people.

you have some valid points there to shut up all the cry babies. If you continously charge away with meditation on for over 5 minutes to heal you life fully, then it is bad-mannered. But a break of 6 seconds to refill the mana orb is only annoying if you are on the losing end.

I dueled them with my nec, they kicked my *** but they had auto lock I think. They kept saying they were locking me when I was in screen then teleing when I was like 3 screens away. Can that be done or what?

I have different style vs barb. You use vigor/charge to make invisible hammer, and they can cry about it. For me, I force them to ww into my visible hammers; the one doing short wws have a chance of hitting you but I also have a few hammers waiting for them at the end of their wws (forcing means that you have to show them at least once or twice you will tele on them; so that they get nervous when they see you doing teleports).
To LLD, I did duel a trapsin in that game once (xe-hydro). And he threw alot of trap/mb combos right at my feet when he's a couple of screens away.

actually blobs hit me quite a few times in our duels.
generally i don't intentionally try to make invis hammers (unless i'm desparate ^^). i use vigor-charge to avoid ww and trap barb with hammers on multiple sides. hard to do that without frequently desynching, though.
cept i just stripped mine to try a mage for CH ><

o yea the fact that you got taken down to I-I twice in the same duel pretty much proves that a barb can kill a hammerdin, the one thing more annoying than a "arrogant barb" is an arrogant pally that has to maintain his image by healing. we duel again with ppl watching our health, lol.... u watch it boy.

i was in the middle of a ww and held ur name down, u teleported abotu 2 screens away so as soon as i finished ww i landed on top of u.
btw we only tele dueled once cause u complained about lock, and the remaining 10 duels were all on foot.

I've faced a few assassins that would switch between traps and mb too never the one from XE though I'm sure he would be even worse since they clearly love the use of perfect/bugged items.

Crap. I play west ladder. I could make a nonladder char if you guys dont mind dueling in norm. Neither one of you does elem dmg so who cares. Although I guess you could have a billion poison dmg. I just want to see if a barb really can beat a hammerdin. Let me know if you guys try again and I'll make a nonladder char and come watch. Awesome ww trick btw. That has great use for pvp.

lol if u need to tele away nonstop and heal to beat a barb then you've pretty much reached the the pinacle of suckiness. the funny party is eventhough u did that u still lost to running barbs with ur tele away bone nec 10 times in a row with each duel lasting about 5 seconds. you sound like one of those people saying healing form ur opponents attacks is completely fine since you can do it wihtout using hacks or bugs let's all use full absorb/res agianst elemental casters and call them pussies if they dont' duel us or tell them they are sucky noobs when they get killed by damage immmune chars. rofl that's funny next time might wanna get some real dueling experience before starting giving out advice and accusing people of hacking just cuz your new to dueling.

btw, from the way that a XE-Malice (XE-revolution) and Blobs (dumbpig) dueled, I can tell that XE-Malice is more skilled with his short WWs. And Blobs (or dumbpig) we practically had 2 duels since I had you down to less than 500life in less than 30 seconds of our first duel; but then u ran away for less than 30seconds and came back with ur red orb half-filled. Then u died anyways.
