Crushing blow in pvp. Is it any good?

I was wondering if crushing blow does any diffrence in pvp. I use a lvl 35 (thx Phyrexial) Talon kicker on HCL. Im able to get around 75% crushing blow. But i dunno if it does any diffrence in pvp. Remember its HCL.

People are going to tell you no - they're wrong. It's handy to have, but it's mostly just some extra damage the first few hits.

But if a should choose between a +30 str helm and guilams face. And a black weapon and skewer of kritz (for the str bonus) wich things should i choose?

The lower the opponents hp, the more negligible it becomes. Not a mod to look for imo, if it's on your helm anyway it's a nice bonus but you're not winning many extra duels with it.

Guilaume's Face has +15 strength already on it, so if you want the strength put a P Amethyst into it. So, the comparison becomes this:

Guilaume's:
+25 Strength
35% Crushing Blow
30% fhr

vs

+30 strength helm

I'd say that +5 strength is worth sacrificing what you get extra on the Guilaume's.

As for your weapon, why would you ever use Skewer for PvP? It only has +10 strength and no other useful mods for PvP. A Strength runeworded Blade Talon will grant you twice that much strength (+20) and +10 vitality and 25% crushing blow on top of that. There is no comparison, Strength is just better. ;) Comparing Black to Strength is a toss up though, 15% more CB and +200 AR vs +20 strength.

By the way, if you're dueling chars that are a higher level than you (more life) or necros with bone armor, definately load up on the CB. It hurts more the more life they have and it also bypasses bone armor.
