LA barb equip

i was gonna use:
IK belt, gluvs, wep, boots.
Arreats face, IK helm if i get IK armor
and probly the new runeword, duress. IK armor if i can

Is this a good setup? i mean teh duress and arreats?
any help is appreciated

duress isn't going to matter much. imho, less than 40% cb is a waste of time, you need at least 40% to see it, and 60%+ to make it an important part of your repetoire.

nothing really helps LA because of the way it works. basically, it's something like this:

1. (80% of the total time) in the air, or "airtime." (minimum 3 yards from target to initiate, you can be hit in the air by melee attacks.)
2. (10% of the total time) searching for targets near landing point (the search is only range 1, regardless of wep range.)
3. (10% of total time) actual attack (which appears to be unaffected by ias.)

as nothing affects airtime, you are spending way too much time not attacking. as all of these stages are unaffected by eq, eq choice is pretty much all up to you.

however, from .09 calculations (without the juicy juicy synergies) i calculated 64k possible damage from a 1200 damage wep (at the time, an etheral cruel wp of evis, dual ohm, including cs bug.) now it would be an additional 12k-20k with a nice botd.

if i haven't depressed you enough, do a search for a build guide. there are 2-3 out there.

hahah, I was trying to figure out how lightning absorb worked with 80% airtime and 10% searching for targets and 10% attacking....

As to the poster, I would consider going for a weapon with the highest possible base physical dmg, cause as superhal said it does insane amounts of dmg. If it's true that ias doesn't matter, I'd go for a botd war pike. If ias does matter, I'd go for botd great poleaxe.
