which helm do you think

my PvP barb has two different arreats now, a low defense (303) arreats socketed with a 40-8 str jewel. and a ethereal zodded (508 def) arreats. which would be better for BvB? Theh ethereal gives me 2 K more defense when i use it, but about 250-300 less damage. which would should i use?

with the regular arreats:
1.4 K- 5 K dmg
20 K defense

with eth arreats:
1.3K-4.7 K
22K defense

hmmm, hard to say! you should test them both and decide!

but IMO, if you already have 20k defence, go for damage!!

thats a good idea, i tried a little bit but i can't really decide. it will be much simpler when the ladder season ends and i get my up'd arreats, which has major defense AND a socket.

The difference between 20k and 22k defense in pvp probably isn't that noticable. Therefore follow the old saying of "damage is king" and go with the 40/8 str arreats.

defence increase by 2k or average damage increased by 200, bother arent huge differences. So if you are a defensive build then eth arreats, if you are offensive go for 40-8 arreats. Hope this was helpful

if ur bvb go for eth arreats. 200 is like 16 after pvp penalty and dr.

go with the low def 303 40/8 arreats. I myself go with a perf 363 arreats socketed w/ a 40/9str jewel... works wonders. Damage is definately king.
