View Full Version : What happens with mods in the party?
I wonder how can affect some mods while in a party:
* -x% enemy resistance
* %MF
* freezes/slows target x%
How is a merc afected and how afect us with this things?
An ACT1 merc wearing Wizendraw will benefit a Blizzeress?
When hammering w/ Arachnid mesh, wich monsters get "slows target 10%"?
etc.
thanks in advance
* -x% enemy resistanceOnly works for the character or merc wearing it.
* %MFOnly works for you, and if your merc makes a kill, his MF is added to yours and the total is used.
* freezes/slows target x%Only if a monster is hit by an attack (not a spell), then these mods come into effect. It only works for the character/merc wearing it.
An ACT1 merc wearing Wizendraw will benefit a Blizzeress?No.
When hammering w/ Arachnid mesh, wich monsters get "slows target 10%"?No, because Blessed Hammer is a spell.

Wait a momemt, RTB. I am not sure if I understand what you mean...
As far as I know - freezing is freezing and chilling is chilling. If, for instance, my freezing arrow or arrow with cold dmg hits a monster, it affects MONSTER ITSELF - not only MONSTER-IN-RELATION-TO-ME :lol: I mean that this monster is frozen or slowed down even for other players - does not matter if they are in party or not.
It does not matter if chiling source is weapon (for instance socketed with a shafire), other parts of gear, charms, or skills. It is just an elemental dmg and its special consequences.
Another question is how slowing down xx% items works (as Ceglaws Claws or Nosferatu´s Coil for instance). Do you mean that these items slows down monsters actions aginst ONLY attacker using this items?
True... ignore that statement of mine.
slow% will slow for all players in the game, otherwise everyone else would get massive desynch.

What he really meant was that slow% will only slow down a monster hit by the weapon or character with the slow ability.
