Unique spawn?

If I'm not mistaken the same unique item can't spawn twice in the same game. Does it work the same way with rings and amulets?

No unique can drop twice in a game, no matter if ring or amulet or not. However, I don't know if two facets are considered different uniques if they are of different elements.

I heard rumors that a single drop cen contain the same unique twice, but I generally don't believe these rumors. What I do believe is what I see it with my own eyes.

I definitely know that set items can drop twice in a game, respectively twice in the same drop. It happened twice for me so far - two Isenhart's armors in one drop from Meph and two berserker set axes (or helms ?) in another.

That's good news because if the same ring can't spawn, you can just run around in nm act 1 with high mf and try to a Nagelring and a Manald, and then go and get a Soj from Andy :)

Unfortunately that isn't true. If a unique can't spawn because it has already spawned, you don't get another unique of the same type. You get a rare.

If no rings have dropped and you get a unique ring from NM Andy, you have a 15/31 chance of Manald, 15/31 of Nagel, 1/31 of SoJ. If a Nagel has already dropped you get 15/31 Manald, 1/31 SoJ, 15/31 rare.

The rare would be of triple durability, if rings had durability.

In addition, cannot get more than one unique even if they are in the same drop. will get 3xdura rares instead.

All 8 Facets have their own entries in UniqueItems.txt thus they are all seperate Uniques - so you can find up to 8 Unique jewels in one game but no more.
