Looks Good Gmoura

Thanx for the support dude! its only going to get better! :yep:
That's cool, but why did you make a second post? The idea of posting a link is that you can just alter the information on that page, without having to make new posts. Saves bandwidth, and mod-hassling if you get stickied.

i know, i really didn't want to re-post but i wanted to make the point that it was updated, and for some reason, there is a time limit now for editing posts! it wouldn't let me!
its ok, as long as people keep posting on this thread, the other will soon vanish =)
-PvP, small barb vs barb section added...

actually i was somewhat peeved when you took my advice and made a guide out of it. however, after looking at your guide, i'm cool with it. it's not similar to my cb barb. the main difference is that you are (apparently) using the high-end runewords. you can stop using cb if you want and you'll probably do fine. my build is a speed build, not a power build.
that being said, some comments about your guide:
1. crescent moon: irrelevant if this is not a cb build. famine and hoj are far superior in terms of raw damage, and can hit the last bp in a wider range of weps than cmoon. doesn't matter to me though, suggesting an eth botd is fine. i'm surprised you saw cb at all.
2. some basic info about ww would help, as you suggest a shield, and aren't really clear about 1 2h, 2 1h, or wep/shield.
3. max ww is not necessary. part of why i made my cb build was that ww damage really sucks. it gets no synergy, and max like 100% ed from the skill, and all damage is reduced by 1/4 (not 3/4 of the wep damage as it says on the skill, and then multiplied. after all multipliers, it is reduced by 1/4.) it is quite normal for me to see 10-50% more damage from 1pt zerk than 20 ww. i think my next (gogo duress) barb will be 1pt ww.
4. try not to sound so excited. this immediately tells me you did it once, it worked, and you're psyched about it. good guides generally require hundreds of hours of testing, and usually 3+ chars.
5. pvp section is a bad idea unless you've tried it for a long time with moderately good pvp items. it ends up being "i've heard..." or "people have told me..." or "the guy who is the ultra best coolest dueler on asia said..."
6. gore riders vs war travs: the big bonuses on the travs are +10 str and +damage. these are huge. with a botd, you might get an additional 500+ damage.
firstly, this guide is exactly that "a guide", the PvP section isn't suppose to make you a great dueler afert reading it, it simply outlines the basics as does the entire guide! i sound exited in it cause i didn't want people to get bored reading it, and just for the record i have made a lot of successful WW barbs both in 1.09 and several in 1.10 so i sort of know what people need to know to at least get started.
Ye, i didn't want to push the CB build of yours becasue some people will get iffy about using Crscent legends and guilliams instead of BotD's and so on!
but CB will be recommended, but now with the duress armor, it it easier to get nice CB without sacrificing too much! (arreats in particular)
stay tuned for updates!
-small PVP, Barb vs Casters section added, simple tips!.....
stay tuned... :uhhuh:

not a bad guide, but try and stay specific and to what you have tested over a long time. If you look elsewhere on the forum you can see my attempt at a guide(throwing Barb Guide v1.04), it has too much info really, gets abit hard to follow and takes a long time to read. When I wrote it I tried to do everything BvB Bvall and pvm. I think it is getting better as people help me out and give advice (btw, comment away on my guide, ime always needing more feedback lol). At the moment I havent actually thoroughly read your guide, but it seems clear and well layed out. I just thought Id say what the problems have been writing my guide.
Superhal is right about the chars bit (I had 2ww barbs and 4 throwing barbs before I wrote my guide, and I am still constantly testing things out on them, although I have been baned from d2 for a while, by my mum, so that I will work 4 my a lvls :( )
hopefully ill get time to read your guide soon and give you some useful advice (well my opinion anywayz) lol
Thanx for that Fallen, and you're 100% correct! i am currently doin my own tests and forum trolling in order to get all the info i need for the guide! i was sort of wanting it to be a huge, easily navigated chunk of WW info! =) in other words i want to go in depth about alot of different aspects of being a whirler! thats why im always saying "stay tuned" =)
thanx again for the input, thats what i need to make the guide better!
also: put i counter on it today, not a bad number of hits! around 120 or so, and about 12 of them are mine! =) hehe

if your guide gets into the sc, drop me a line. i don't think they would host a graphic-heavy guide, and i would rather work with frontpage.

This probably sounds like a repeat question - but:
I have just found a Death Cleaver and i plan on killing my IK WW barb and trying an axe whirler, would you advocate 1H + SS or no sheild and something? as a second weapon?
Also i just want to clarify - as the IAS tables don't seem to be included yet - but does the DC hit the last WW or will i need to Shael/IAS it?
Otherwise nice guide :D

You could always switch between SS and maybe another cleaver dual weilded depending on situations.
For PvM I would go for DC and another nice axe if you can find one, else stick to SS.
As for the IAS,Death Cleaver already reaches the last WW breakpoint with its 40% inherent IAS.

Glad I could help. :D
Immortal Kings Maul: If you're interested in using this one, why not just use the entire set! the bonuses are great and with 2 shaels it will get faster! note: even with 2 shael runes in it, the speed will only get to -30, which wont be as fast as we desired. You glow with the entire set on, making you look like a huge Christmas light!
Hold up, Gmoura, you mention that the IK maul won't reach the final breakpoint for WW when socketed with 2 shaels, but I was under the impression that it DID reach the final break point with 2 shaels, or 2 IAS jewels, or a combination of each.
Am I not understanding what you're trying to say there? Or am I mistaken?

yea i just noticed that too. the IK maul comes with 40ias already and with 2 open sockets. you can easily hit the last bp with it, which is an absolute must since it only has range 2.
