Pindle is the easiest MF run around. The run itself takes about ten seconds, it actually takes longer to identify, sell, and stash the money you make from his crap drops.

You didn't think you'd get godly items from a run you can do two or more times a minute, did you? No, he only drops two non-regular items, meaning, only two magical, rare, or unique items. Good luck finding a nice unique from him. You're better off Mephing.

When Pindle drops, he drops pretty good. Its nice knowing that he can drop just about any object in the game. He is as quick to run as BabehJesus says.

Meph takes a long time, but has good spoils just about every other run. Just ran him for an hour today and got 3 facets off of him.

Andy is a remote possibility; you might consider it if you're in search of SOJs. But shes not all that common among MFers

it's so difficult to run Meph, IMHO since finding that exit is such a pain in the butt. i have a harder time finding that exit than i do fighting Meph. It's annoying. Does anyone have any strategies for finding that exit to Lvl 3?

The strategy i use is:

With the Durance 2 Waypoint BEHIND your sorc, follow the wall that is on your SORC's Left. And keep following it round, and 85-95% of the time you will find steps down before you find steps up.

There's a whole website on Meph running, I just couldn't find the link.

Basically, it goes like this.

Look at the room containing the WP.

Which side is the exit to the room on (up left, up right, down left, down right)?

The room with the Lvl. 3 stair's entrance is the same as your room, rotated ninety degrees clockwise.

If the exit to the WP room is on the down left side, the entrance to the room with the Lvl. 3 stair will be on the top left side, meaning, the stair will be along the down right wall. Understand?

bah, i was so proud of my wee diagram :D - still it works for me, tho once in a long while i will find the way up first :(
