Countess Runs

Which kind of sorceress is the best for hell countess? or should i be doing NM countess instead of hell?

With a Merc any build can do Countess runs. I do so frequently with a Meteorb Sorc. So i can dispatch all the LI monsters too and my Mightmerc takes care of the Countess, while my Sorc slams her to the wall with Telekinesis.

What's the point of doing Countess runs? Highest rune she can drop is crap compared to the runes other characters can drop, or even Hellforge. Don't waste your time with this crazy woman, do Andy or something :P

i use cl/orb. got it down pretty well too, about 95% success rate, but using 105% fcr.

May be a low rune, but it's a sure you get one, sometimes 2 or 3. Transmute them and in some time you get a higher one. As for the other bosses, you will have a chance of killing them too: for fun, for helping someone, for mf'ing...

Just the figures: countess will drop IST in 1:20xx runs, the highest she can drop is LO, but gul~Lo will almost never drop from her. But yea, for collecting sol runes or ral runes or both or upgrade runes even, it's a nice monster to run.

Any build will do with a decent merc, really. Even single-trees.

Cl rocks. When I was trying to decide which build to make when I started my first ladder char (my orb/cl sorc) I went with cl because I knew hell countess was immune to cl/orb and I've never messed with mercs because I find them annoying. Lately though I find it's easier to get runes by finding items and then trading them for runes rather than doing countess, but if you are just starting out, finding/cubing runes from (sol, dol, shael, hel, io, etc) and selling them is the best way to get some much needed mf items for your sorc.

edit: I do 1-4200 dmg with a lightning facet in my occy and level 32 cl.

with metaorb i find that i can do hell countess ^.^ see the trick is having a strong merc, what i do is kill off all the monsters around her and just let my merc kill her, while aiding my merc with static sure it might be a bit more time consuming but its faster then having to make a new char just to do countes runs :)

Any built is good for countess - just make sure you have more or less good merc.
If you have sorta weak merc here is a trick... kill everything in countess room by her then go to town res merc and get back. Even weakest merc should able handle countess along if you feed him with health pots and chop ~50% health of countess with SF
