IK Barb-- ww or conc?

I think these are the only 2 viable builds for them atm.


I just want to ask a few questions from already ik users!


1) I left 1 week after 1.10, does ww suck?
2) How is not being able to use a shield?
3) ML/LL It is low in the ik set
4) If I do choose to make a IK barb, should I cham the armor?


Other opinions and results from this build would be greatly appreciated,

Is going as BASE as you can on strength a good thing?

How is the AR troubles, when you max shout/bo/master/ww?

I would really like to know this, thanks guys

Okay... but your guide never really touched upon Ik set...

I wasn't referring to my guide. I'm referring to the fact that we get a post about the IK set every other day or so. We've answered these questions time and again here in the forum, so I was suggesting you look through the forum at various posts for the information you need. There are literally dozens of threads about the IK set in here.

IK is better for WW, conc does better (though not impossible) with a shield...

1- WW doesn't suck! but you need a good fast weapon + good AR + good leech

2- a shield is VERY usful but not neccesary, IMO use a shield!!! but if you wanna use IK set i guess you can't. in that case a conc barb would be better, or you can go half half! WW/Con.

3- ik set has decent leech but more is better! check the range of ik maul, if it isn't at least 3, dont bother with WW!!

4- dont CHAM the armor!!! use cham and IK set to trade for an eBotD hehe =) and make a BotD/shield barb!!

It needs to be stressed that the best build for the IK set seems to be ww in general. It's too slow of a weapon for conc, even with runes plopped in it.

I made a 355% etheral zeker botd, conc barb, all of his items were very good, he could solo 8 player hell, I still have my axe, but he was kinda boring, physical immunes were hard... but I did use zerk on them...

Idk what to do... my damage on the axe was 163-485.

Anyone know what it is worth? I was thinking 5 or 6 runes on east.


I really like ik, because conc was kinda boring... looks great on paper, but Idk.. anyone else feel this way?


For ik, Im going to use angelic ammy/ring/raven.

Hopefully I can put ed jewels in the armr.
