Well this has to do with trading mainly but I dont want to trade anything here so dont tell me that I am on the wrong board.

Well I have some sorc grear to trade so i made 2 different trade games in normal and nightmare and their titles were "firesorctrade" and "sorctrades"

well the games filled and most of them want freeibies and I told them to look at the game. Well I had Cathans set to trade and I had 5 to 6 people try to trade me basic low level gloves and socket helms for my set items..

I mean really who would trade a whole set for a 3 def lvl pair of gloves????

And that my friend is why you always have a cracked sash in your inventory when someone wants free.

If you're trying to trade off some stuff you've found never trade in normal games for the reason that you posted. Nightmare might be better for trading mid level items, hell... well they just want the best of the best. Normal games are full of new beginners that don't have anything. They see a high level char come in and think they might have some old stuff they don't want. There are people in norm game on 2nd or 3rd or 4th characters, but they already have most of the stuff they need or are being rushed to nm so they won't even see your game.

For mid-high level items i try nightmare for trading. For godly's and the like, I trade in hell.

I made a normal game once called free for you. when I do this, I have some class specific items that I want to give out. I went into the trade window with one char (assn or something) and offered a ammy with +3 to a certain skill tab. I asked if they liked and they said no, got nething else. Being a good guy I offered something else and they still said no, got nething else (I love the abbreviations. They're too lazy to even beg) . I said, this is a free game and beggers can't be choosers. Then I left him 1 gold piece and left the game. The nerve of some b.net people.

then should I just rush my mules to nightmare???

well it happened again. I make a game to trade off my Immortal Kings Detail and a necro joined and asked if I had trangs and I said no I am trading away my IK belt and he then asked me if I had the arm of King leoric and I said yes but I am using it so I wont trade it away and the guy kept on asking me to trade and I said no but he wouldnt shut up so I had to leave my own damn game.

It seems like I cant trade anything anymore unless I have godly or full set items. No one ever joing my trading game in which I will trade pgems for mid runes.

Just my opinion , but why don't you try trading here on the forums ? It helps weed out things like that so to speak.

I get this probably 90% of the time I try to move high-end stuff on BNET.

example
Game name: My Ber ur Soj

Them: 'show'
Me: I show
Them: Proceeds to place uniques up.
Me: 'Uh I am asking for Soj'
Them: 'HAHA this is worth more than Soj noob'
Me: '.......'
Them: 'Well????'
Me: 'Tell U what. You go trade all that for soj, then come look for me."

Thats so funny. I made a game once called arachnid for ist or something like that, then someone joined the game and said, I have an arachnid. And I'll say, "Well so do I! Thats why I called in arachnid for ist, b/c I want an ist. Not another arachnid"
Then they'll call me stupid noob, curse me in Cling-on, and leave.

I just made the game again and one guy just put up one cheap robe with a few element resist and +3 to chain lighting and said "thats all" and I told him that a crappy robe for IK belt is not worth it then he swore at me and left...

If you don't like Bnetters than play single player, in general it is much more civil.

LOL, that's a good one...

Well, I agree with one of the posters above, you should try trading with the forum members. Ppl here are much more polite and definitely safer to trade with.

As for freebies, I made a mule just for the stuff I don't need and/or just have too much of (bonesnaps  ). Then I look for games with people actually questing (not those "free junk" games) and ask the people in there if they need low uniqs, if they do, I drop stuff. The reason I do this is because I got hooked up before when I was a newbie and that made the game much more enjoyable. Therefore it is good to give sometimes IMO.

I keep a mule open for xtra stuff, and every once in awhile I'll stash a high level super rare item on there, hop into an a1 questing game, and drop it, then leave.

Almost always the guy whispers me for mroe, and I'm like 'I just gave you a free Tal's Armor/Nat's Claw/Tyreal's Might, you should be happy with that!'
