Best Way to Kill Townguarders

Anybody know the best way to kill a teamed up bone necro and wind druid that townguard? Assuming that both characters have excelent items i.e. Hoto and Enigma.

Im thinking of a hammerdin right now, but if anybody has any better ideas i'd like to hear them.

Use Cold Plains waypoint and attack them from behind with a ranged character like a Blizzard Sorc, or snipe them with a Bowazon offmap. :|

no the only thing that beats townguarding is to use a teleporting char such as a sorc and tele from cold plains and get them un awares in the back. A firebal lsorc would be perfect here. Any other char will just be blasted the second u step out. You shouldnt be dueling with anyone townguarding anyway just leave the game they suk and arent worth your time dueling. There are plenty of people in public duels that like to play fair.

All your ideas should work well.. but the druid or nec can simply tele on top of the bowazon and kill her in a second... the fire sorc sounds great though, there's usually no way either of them will have enough fhr to get in any hits on the sorc before she kills them... i still like my hammerdin idea though because if he was in the right position he could take both of them out in 1 hammer... if he could tele between them (enigma, of course). this would work great if i had a hammerdin though.. perhaps the zon will work for me, i have one of those :winner:

I'm thinking the Cold Plains WP and three words: Spam Lightning Fury. If that's not going to be enough damage (good resists, etc, aren't that common on losers who townguard), a Hammerdin in the same situation could wreak some havoc, or a bone necro. Bowazons just lack the damage. Oh, the other thing you could try would be using an Enchant sorc and throw some Enchanted Spirit Wolves (gotta love Crescent Moon) at them...if they hit, they're so dead...

use a barb, start cussing out their moms, about 2 seconds after u enter your cuss-out, they should be in the midst of typing a response, and go and kill them.

that's easy just town guard them back and hear them cry about what they started.

Vigor + Charge. It's uber-cheesy, but it might work, provided you can get past the block.

Or you could just spam summons.

Team up yourself with other guys who are in the game. Watch how fast 6 characters kill 2 characters:). Again it doesn't matter wheter they are wind druid + necromancer. Hammerdin + Multishot Ama and necro+wind druid is a piece of cake :lol: Actually I discover my passion for team duels, when I join duel games with my friend who plays as multishot zon they're owned all together (Conc lvl36 from my hammerdin and her multishot does 6-12k dmg WITHOUT critical strike. Its really funny how helpless all those botd dupers and marrowalk necros can be...

calling people botd dupers just sounds like jealousy to me. and i don't see why a hammerdin would be complaining about botd chars in the first place.

If you want to beat a team you need to work as a team. Three rush from CP and when the two guys chase them, rush them from town.

u can try sneaking from behind thru cold plain wp, or just use sumone else as bait to absorb attacks

WW asn, maxed venom, maxed claw block, block 5 bone spirits in a row, ww them bleh bleh both dead from no poison resist and 5-6k ww damage...easy...

Cold Plains is where you want to go do get out of town, then come towards the entrance and do a drive by with blizzard. My friend has killed six guys in one blizzard before since they usually get cocky and stand together.

Yep! Seen things similar to that as well. Its always funny too.

Cold Plains was already mentioned, though, if you have a powerful enough ww on a barb, you can simply return the cheese to the town guarders.

Simply wait till theres a slight pause in their attacks then make sure you can run fast, (in the case your a barb) get next to them before they attack and WW back into town. If you can hit them, you probably wont kill them but you could hurt them enough to have to go back to akara or scare them enough to think youll actually chase them so they will "tele" away from the town enterance.
You ww back into town because if you die mid ww, you wont die in town. So you basically save yourself. Ive done this plenty of times. If theres a townguarder, return the favor by being a town hugger. Gotta play like a dumbass to beat a dumbass.
This is easy with casters though...but this was already said above so no need repeating it.

Exit the game, take the cold plains way point (hopefully they haven't hostiled you yet) and walk out behind them. Start spamming BS at them. They'll giggile. TP to town and hostile immediately after you string some BS at one. With some luck they'll be hit by the tppk trick and you'll only have to fight one.

i say get a necro with high lvl fire golem and cast him near them while your in town.....that or cast clay golem to slow them then cast a fire golem.......the other way is to use a druid with a high lvl bear...those things are vicious..hehe :idea:

I like the firegolem idea because then the nec can double up as an aggressive army necro.
