Testing the New Runewords

Have anybody put these new runewords to use yet? The armors look pretty useful for barbs and a lot easier to make then engima and Chains of Honor. So are people using them? Any thoughts on how they work out?

I Just made a Duress in a wire fleece, it has 17% enhanced damge, and 198% enhanced defense (1430 def). Looks like a promising armor to me, can't wait to use it in my next barb (probably going to be a throw barb).

hmmm... does this runeword work now? I wasnt aware of that... so it thul-hel-um ? i think i might try that one out for the tasty crushing blow+open wounds :)

Prudence is a sexy armor. The runes are Mal Tir and would be reall sexy in an eth superior elite armor.

I made a duress, it's nice. Enigma is more versatile (tele, more dmg etc.), but duress is just a nice utility armor to have in stash.

duress is going to rock in my cb barbs. :)

i made one last night in a great hauberk i was saving for enigma. however, i love the gh's look. makes me look like the 3rd member of legion of doom. :)

all these runewords are not on arreats summit... can anyone explain why?

Because blizzard just enabled them, along with a shield runeword. They are realms only, and I guess blizzard was counting on us to discover them, and we did! :D

just to add to this post! i just made a Duress in usWest Ladder, and my barb is using it now!
its VERY sexy armor! the Crushing Blow and Open wonds are beautiful, not to mention the 40% FHR and resists it gives!

I prolly would take Duress over enigma too anyday. Sure enigma's str bonus is nice , but it makes you less flexible , because you need to build your char around the str bonus. If you need another armor you're missing alot of str to put on the rest of your equipment.

Also , the mods on duress are really really nice.

+40% Faster Hit Recovery
+(10-20)% Enhanced Damage (varies, range not confirmed)
Adds 37-133 cold damage
15% Chance of Crushing Blow
33% Chance of Open Wounds
+(171-197)% Enhanced Defense (varies, range not confirmed)
-20% Slower Stamina Drain
Cold Resist +45% (Blizz sorcs anyone?)
Lighting Resist +15%
Fire Resist +15%
Poison Resist 15%

Id take enigma over duress any day for anything besides BVB...wtf are you gonna do against a good caster when u run slow as hell/cant tele?

I was considering making Prudence for a frenzy barb I plan on making....Just trying to figure out the best armor to put it in.Suggestions?
