thats got aton of info about tals set v. other gear
its mainly for meteorb, but u could take the results for orb and they should hold true for a blizz sorce
myself, id jus keep the gear u have and socket facets bcuz +xx%/-xx% is where tals gets its advantage over most other equipment. if i had ur gear or the facets that is... :grrr:
but u can read up and make ur decision

i'm making a full blizz sorc now, she's at lvl 72 and wearing shako, lidless, skullders, war travs, snowclash belt, +3 cold skill amu, occu, chance guards

my question is, would it be better if i used tal set for this build? i'll have less + skills then but the +15 cold damage from tal occu...

You would need to calculate the +% damage you receive with your +skills gear. How much is your damage increase with blizz/+skill and then see if that is more or less than the +15% from Tals set. I think you are still better off with your +skills, also since CM gets boosted more (but which would not matter that much if its maxed or very high already)

i use ful tals on my blizz sorc - more life, more mana, higher res, more damage :D

My sorc uses a full tal set, and with stats messed up at lvl 75, she still has over 800 health/600 mana. Nice resists also. If u want mf, socket the tal armor and helm with p topaz/ist and have ali baba with 2 ists on switch. You can still have war travs, chancies, nagels, rhyme or 4 socket isted shield if u that hard up for mf. I stick to lidless though.

I am currently remaking sorc, so I wonder how much better I will be killing after I dont mess up my stats/skills.
