Question about Max Damage hammerdin

Hi all,

I'm building a Hammerdin according to captain Bogus Build Guide. I'm at lvl 19 now so i can use the Blessed Hammer.Here's my question: I use the Blessed Hammer as a primary attack but what do i use for secondary attack? I know that Holy Shield is a passive attack so i only have to use then once every 230 seconds.

Can anyone give me a clear answer about this?

Oke, just found something about putting secondary attack to Concentration. Is this true?

yes it's true! Concentration should be active when using hammers, it increases their damage a LOT! then use vigor for running to the throne...
always make sure your holy shield is still active!

Hammerdin have very singular attack namely blessed hammer. Along this hammer altouth do ok damage but with concentration aura active it's most dreaded weapon in game...
To give you an example...
lvl 34 BH do along ~2500 damage.... once I turn on concentration damage jump to 9.4K a hammer
Basically you'll use HS which will boost your deffence to insane lvl, BH on left mouse and concentration on a right. Also you will switch time to time on redemption for refill,cleansing to cancel nasty poisons/curses, meditation if no copses around and you are low on mana or plently copses around but you cannt get your hands on it because of some bastard druid, vigor for travel and charge against those pesky teleportintg bosses like baal

You can go for smite or FoH. Maby charge if you're going PvP to quicly close up enemies and hammer them.

If ur making a hammerdin stick to hammerdin skills don't stray to foh,charge, smite u'll regreat it terrably.

I am second on that - if you want maximum efficiency stick to the guide "Maximum damage hammerdin" all spare point dump into Holy Shield thou

Thnx for your replies. I just stick to the Guide from captain bogus and see how it works around lvl 80 :)
