evil paladin?

you know you have all thought about it, the paladin is supposed to be the bastian of goodness, but havent u ever wanted to create an evil paladin who breaks all the rules in pvp just conjecture here but what would be a good setup as far as a quasi poor evil paladin(being evil doesnt pay well) Ive set out a few thatll definetly get it started, and this is for an evil melee pally as hammerdins and foh-dins are cursed at enough as it is. heres a start fill in the gaps where better is to be found.

Helm-Blackhorns-slow is funny Armor- i dunno
shield-no thoughts at present
gloves-cleglaws- knowback and slow is double funny plus good for a widowmaker switch, or dracs- long live life tap
belt-hsarsus for the ar with the boots, or arach for enough slow to hit us at the 50 percent cap
boots-hsarsus for the ar or marrowwalks for the bone prison charges, god thatd be annoying, other than those 2 i dunno
ammy-atmas-amp is funny, angelic-long live ar
rings- i dunno of any evil rings, angelic helps dose out the ar though

so pretty much all i got is the slow stuff i know of, what could I add that would enhance his evilness if my idea is tardish lemme know and ill crawl back into a hole :(

I don't know if this is my place to interject... but isn't a FoH pally not really evil??? I mean, if a pally can harness the powers of heaven, that would make him good in my book... or are you just talking about the look of the pally...? cuz if u ask me, necros got that down beat... real creepy... :P anyway, cool idea... i'd consider joining a clan like that... i guess... meh, have fun anyways... :)

i got a idea that will blow all others. a slow/psn bowazon. (wutcha think of that). i would say a 6 sok bow with all p emeralds, blackhorn helm, a ammy that steals life and mana, and the rest slow like belt and i think dehimonde gloves slow. i that i will try that idea out.

ive pondered this evil character a bit more and the holy freeze route seems entertaining, however it could be real interesting to make a holy freeze smiter, with max slow and cold damage too, correct me if im wrong but thats 3 types of slow effecting someone, big recipe for seeming evil there if it works :p but yeh the way i figure it hammerdins are beguiled enough now as it is that they might as well be evil paladins, itd be nice to have an evil melee counterpart:p

also with the frost smite build all u would need would be like 5 or so in smite for duration since all the damage comes from aura.

so at this point ive narrowed the build down to two possibilities

a fanaticism smealot, or a holy freeze zealot with enough smite to do the job.

so its either massively slow them with holy freeze and slow, or slow them lots and remain very speedy yourself for the fan route, not sure yet which would be more evil, and more effective. i mean effectiveness is the game here nothing worse than being the villain and then getting owned :( either way though bothll have a widowmaker and cleglaws ready for switch!

20 points holy shield, defiance, lightning resist, fire resist so you live
20 points conviction as support
Enigma
Lots of gold

Nightmare merc with 4 die facets, one of each element. Teleport in, watch the merc die and everything else around it. Go up to town, rinse, repeat.

Even more evil. Tell one of your friends to buy the game, give him a sorc with the appropriate synergies and the 4 die facet armor, and tell him he can get exp (for you, not him hehehe) by dying :)

I love the Kamikaze idea... i brought it up a little earlier and that just sounds soo funny... Of course you'd want to have a TON of gold for that baby to work... and be rich to get yourself some nice facets... but heck... the thought of me seeing it go off makes me giddy like a little school girl heh....

Paladin=name given to legendary knights of Carol the Great or king Arthur's,a knight seeking heroic adventures animated by chivalrous feelings.

Amulet: Cat's Eye----30% Faster R/W
Belt: Mavina's Belt---20% Faster R/W
Boots: IK's Pillar------40% Faster R/W
Gloves: Cleglaw's
Shield: Bugged Taebak's
Rings: Wiz spike rings
Weapon: Bugged LS
Total Faster R/W: 230%

Now you can go with Carrion Wind and Raven Frost for rings, upped HoZ, and Stormlash and he'd be pretty vicious.

Max: Charge, Vigor, Might, Holy Shield, Defiance

Run around with charge and vigor on and people get pretty pissy pretty quickly. My brother basically couldn't see me until he was dead. The wiz rings were just for resistances. The nice thing about the carrion wind option is the extra twister, which stuns when it goes off. You need to be careful during team duels though.

Nice collection of bugged items. You're forgetting 1 thing though. All that run you have doesn't affect charge at all. Only vigor does. Good thinking.

by looks the necro is evil but by the games religion for each char the necro is one of the most passive charecters out there working to keep the balance etc....
the paladin is a holy warrior of the zakurum church who prays to the light hence good so we're just miling around not so good ideas.

it all vanished.. .09 ruined the game for me. I hated bugged items since most of the bug users were punks. Eventually I yeilded to the darkside just to PK some 'friends'. Don't miss any of it. I'm waiting for the first ladder wipe so I can fart around with nothing again. :lol:

I would say the most evil thing would be to make a low level dueller in HC then go around PK'ing high level characters using every cheap trick in the book. Pallys are especially suited to be a LL dueller. Nothing is more evil than wasting someones hard work level 70 HC char with a level 24 paladin.

I've never seen an LLD do that... usually it's a lvl 9~12 char that pks up to lvl 30 chars. From 24 to 70 seems like too big of a difference to be able to do. If you've accomplished it do tell and tell how :)

I love the idea of the super slow.
I love the idea of the FLASH, with charge vigor and more FRW than anyone should have.
I'd love to hear more about the Low Level Duelers, and why Paladins are so good at them?

yes i do believe im gonna have to use an alma negra on him, ill post some chronicles and screenies of the tales of my evil paladin, he is lvl 20 at present and weaseling his way up in lvls :p Im usually a nice guy on bnet etc but when i play with this char his goal is to be evil, so its fun :p

So... are you going smiter? Smiter with Blackbog's looks like a pain in the arse. I think although slow is capped at 50% you can stack slow sources on someone: Slow from skill, Slow from Equipment, Slow from Curse, Slow from minion...

So if you smite someone with blackbog's and your Holy Freeze Merc comes with Reaper's then you have one ticked off player. I've seen it work on bosses so it should work on players.

Other than that there's diminishing returns on equipment faster R/W and there are none on Vigor... So I'd max Vigor and get a good balance of faster R/W, resists, & damage. I've mostly PvM'd rather than PvP'd have you checked the PvP forums for ideas?
