IMO there isn't a "best" weapon for a zealot. all the weapons mentioned are good weapons you just have to pick which one you like and go from there. each weapon has advantages and not so many disadvantages. so really you can pick which ever one you want and be effective.

maybe a good runemaster? has great potential with 5x 40/15

With one 40/15 you can get as many Runemasters as you want tho :p Atleast on ladder, dunno about dupeland.
