possible insane weapon for enchantress

i dunno if its been brought up before...but i see some real potential:

anyway its an enchantress... who uses vengeance attack granted by kingslayer axe,which is then enhanced by masteries O_O

feral axe(with perfect kingslayer) does 92-455 2 handed damage, needs 45% more ias to get to 9 frames(which is very fast)

im not sure if the damage modifiers(sorc masteries) will mix with the vengeance damage, but if they do, look OUT...

20 lit mastery
20 fire mastery
20 enchant
20 warmth
rest in utility skills, such as teleport, energy shield, telekenisis, armors etc

(this isnt a very well thought out idea, just a thing that came to mind so i hurridly wrote it down...tear it apart at will)

Sounds cool actually. But i thought sorcies can't get faster than 10 fpa..... Might wanna look into a decepitator or glorious axe instead, far higher damage. If you can reach the same speed with them.......

Thats a good idea....I have another question for a melee sorc: Is it better to go with a Hand of Justice or a Passion blade? HOJ gives -enemy fire res, but passion gives that godly zeal for fast attack....input is appreciated.

A two handed weapon is too much of a disadvantage. I'd recommend getting a ONE handed weapon.

some 2 handers sorcies can swing at 9 frames max...best for this is a really high damage weapon...so you can 1 hit kill...between enchant, vengeance, the masteries and enchants synergies, you should be able to get astronomical amounts of damage and ar...tele around and smack them really hard maybe a couple of times, and they should die...

For a melee sorc, you really want to be blocking...sorc gets far too little life to go through hell without it. On the other hand, with a pre-buffed ES perhaps it could work. Just hope you don't run into anything with Mana Burn.
On a sidenote: I've never seen detailed data on possible breakpoints for 9 frames attack with a sorc. I still believe 10 frames is max speed for sorc.

HoJ on an enchantress is a waste of some very expensive runes in my book. In hell, things are either fire immune or they die to enchant easilly. The -% fire resist really doesn't help that much. Vengeance helps alot more, I consider a Kingslayer weapon the best weapon for a melee enchantress.

And calling 10/6/6/6/6 (total 34 frames) godly zeal speed...not in my book. I rather attack at 10 frames per attack for ALOT more damage with the ability to teleport after 10 frames than to lock myself into place with an attack that takes over a second to complete.

Zarhrezz thanks for your advice. So regardless of other options you think Kingslayer is the best all around choice for a melee sorc? What do you recommend for other gear? I looked at mongojerry's guide and managed to get delerium, valor, magefists, waterwalks, and rising sun....Any advice is appreciated.

Nope just the physical damage.

Go wild and go 2-hand, get a might/defiance/hf merc to tank for you :)
