Best Necromancer build for Trang Oul's Avatar?

Hello all, don't really come to the necromancer forum often, but I'm currently trying to make an account with all the High Class-Specific Sets. I'm now at Trang Oul's, and was wondering what's the best type of necro for this set?

This character isn't for pk, just for fun. I just want to have a cool looking account in the end :lol: but a decent build is helpfull.

I was thinking a Poison Mancer? Trang's has lots of - enemy poison resistance and +poison skill damage, but not very many +skills. This is on ladder, and I can't afford sojs or skill gcs :( So I need a build that can play through with this set.

I was also thinking of a Overlord, but again, not very many +skills, and I've made a few of those lately, kind of bored of them.

Anyway, tell me what you think is the best build for Trang Oul's Avatar.

poison mancer / summoner hybrid

IHMO the best build (s) for a trang wearing necro is either of the following:

1. Straight Summon / CE build. Max warrior / mages / mastery / ce / 1 golem stuff / rest curses

2. Summon / Poison. Either max mastery or 1 of the poison synergies. There's a guide I wrote on it.

Those are really the main ones. I'm sure you can do whatever, but those are both effective builds that will shine with that set.

Do you happen to have the link or title of this guide, I don't see it on first page, I'm going to go look through other pages, but I have no clue how far back it could be, and just wondering if you have the guide, thanks. :thumbsup:

Eh, like I said I know how to make an Overlord as I've been playing a few lately, so I'm going to try gvandale's Poison/Summon guide.

yes, fcr doesn't matter for either summoning or casting poison nova. Poison doesn't stack.

Now if only I could tell all those stupid pnova spammers...

yea dude. poison rocks. you dont need faster cast rate for poison. i was mentioning the fcr bug due to someone recommending (and having to f'ing clue what he was talking about) a bone build.

go poison / summon. youll be happy as a pig is shi'it.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood you, I thought you ment that my poison skills would suck because of the lack of FCR.

I know this isnt my thread but i was wondering what would be more effective pvm the p/s hybrid or a pure summon build like gvandale mentioned earlier in the thread. thx

It depends on your gear. If you have good gear a p/s hybrid will be faster. It can very easily do every part of the game and do it fast.

A pure summon build is extremely safe. You don't even have to be behind your PC when you play. So if you lack good gear go with this.

This is about as honest as it gets. Safe is the best word for a summoner. If you have the items (trangs will do) a poison / summon is devastating.
