Can't believe this... happened to me... body pop..

Recently I have read a few post on body popping.. people exiting games when they gotten NK. Some people are sympathetic while some says serve them right for being so stupid. Me, I was neutral because it has never happen to me.... until last night...

I was deuling with a pala, then a coldsorc can n hostile me. I put on my anti cold gear by taking out my +20str rare nec tiara and change to the uniq tiara for more resist. After I killed her, another fire sorc came at me from behind and kill me. When I come back and click on my body, the fire sorc killed me again. I didnt realize at that time by clicking on the body, I have retrieve my 40 res hoto, 2 x soj and 6 BO CTA. The 2rd time I try to retrieve my body, she nk me again. I thought fine, since I never pick up new equipment after I die, I should be ok if I exited the game and come back to take revenge.

When I got back, I realized that I couldnt pick up my body. So I put on my rare tiara. Only my enigma and boots was left. Rest has gone into blizzard's oblivion....

I was totally stunned. Never thought it will happen to me. Though I cant be considered a vet but I'm certainly not a newbie. The only consolation was that the enigma was still with me and I still have means get replacements. Hard lesson nevertheless.

Moral of the story: think twice.. thrice before you exit game if you have mulitples corpses.

u can only have one body and its by gold value so whatever u have on is what u got from the highest gold value everything else is gone

I thought blizz changed this server-side because of this problem, where now it's your first body that gets saved between games.

I could be wrong, but I could've sworn i've read that somewhere.

Another solution is to play HC. By doing this you have 100% sure you only have 1 body at a certain time.

the best solution is to not run out blindly like an idiot thinking that some pre-teen loser on b.net is going to allow you to get your body.

Same here. I rarely duel, but when I do I find that the people in those public games have a short attention span. If you aren't giving them any responses, they get bored easily and have to go find someone else to try and prove their superiority on.

I waited for a guy in pubby for 3 hours once ( i watched tv in the meantime, ate lunch, chilled with a buddy). When he got back... BAMMO! Just goes 2 show, u can never b 2 careful (patience :lol: ).

Why do you MF in Flayer Jungle? I read some chart that said best place to find skill GC's was Great Marsh or Flayer in Nightmare...is that why you MF Flayer? I assume this was Hell, not Nightmare, so why MF there?

Lots of monsters with not a lot of life. More monsters = more drops = more good drops.
