i have the runes [finaly] to make crescent moon for this guy, hes wearing dual angelic rings and ammy for a much needed AR boost and thought the wolves could help out my skellies and prevent my mages from dying [oddly enought they dont die as often as i thought they would]

if its worth it [keep in mind this will be the best i can do till i find more runes] what sword i should use, [was thinking of a dimentional blade with 3 sockets] where can i find one (if its the best with spending endles runs looking for a better and with act 5 socketing what would be optimal mlvl to get a dimentional blade that will be socketed with 3 openings?

make it in a phase blade or a mythical sword.

Ihmo, those are the 2 best 1 hand swords. myth has best avg dmg and easiest to find with or get 3 sockets. phaser has insane speed and indestructible (save gold) and the same range (2 is best on 1h swords), but problem is with sockets. finding (no other way to get) a 3socket may be hard.

either way, those are your best bets.

You'd be better off using the cube recipe for giving a random # of sockets to an item to any of the good weps you find, like the phase blade as g mentioned. I run into white phase blades often. A mythical blade will always get 3 sockets from Larzuk, i'd have to say.

Do some nm countess runs, they're alot faster than hell countess runs and you generally get the same drops (on average, even though hell can drop higher). You'll get alot of runes higher than amn too for kicks. Do your barb 'savin quests in all difficulties, and cube up to amn. It's just a chipped topaz and 3 thuls.

oh duh, you can still do that offlad, I keep thinking that everything above thul is disabled for non-lad *smacks head*

you just can't cube up to hel nonlad, so you're fine
