View Full Version : Natures vs DClone
Asked this once before and the one response I got didn't answer it, so...
If and when I face the clone again, Since ce is 50% phy/50% fire will the pmh mod on natures work if i ce monster within range of the clone?
Thanks

No, it will not. It only works with direct melee attacks. Not a spell attack like CE.
I'll go and test this.
Mantis, I have heard that sorceresses can get the benefit using their spells so I guess that CE will tag the Clone with PMH. I await the results of your test.
EDIT: thinking about this a bit more I suspect your are right Mantis afterall. It is the Slain Monster rest in Peace mod that works with spells and I'm confusing that with PMH. I still await the results of your test. :)

This is why I ask, the rest in peace mod works with ce, so i figure the pmh would to?
I await your test Mantis..

PMH also works with ranged attacks. I have tested this with a bow.
If you have any info on the duration of PMH I would be interested. With a bow it seems to be about 30 seconds, but this could vary depending on monster.

It appears to be working.
It was kind off hard to find a target that could survive the blast to see if they recovered or not. I tested it out on Shenk. Damaged Shenk a bit to see if he regenerated. He did. Then I killed one of his Enslaved and blew him up. Shenk got damaged and didn't seem to recover life.
A conformation of the experiment would be helpful.
