Besides the obvious anni, pdsc, and skills what other charms should i keep?
This can be for any character (melee or magic)
I've been seeing charms such as 3/20/20 but looking at them, they dont seem too useful.. but then again i am a noob... please list them ... thanks..
im a new player too, so theres probably more than what im saying. I think 7% MFSC are pretty valuable. Dependant on my melee charecters i like to keep a charm that adds elemental damage that my other stuff doesnt add. Most people i believe like to have the poison charms that deal a lot of damage. I know it helps against monster heal in hell. Then i keep other ones to help even out resists, str charms to help my sorc/necro wear certain armor, etc.
It really depends on the type of char you have.
For example, having a buncha poison charms is useless in a meteor/orb sorcs' inventory. Those charms are only good w/ melee (non-spellcasting) chars. Ditto w/ +max charms. Mf charms are only useful on chars U plan to mf with.
+ skills is always useful, and u can't go wrong w/ them on any char
all resist charms are nice if U don't have res maxxed.
Once you know what kind of char U are building, its pretty simple to figure out what charms wil be most useful in yer inventory.
Just a small list off the top of my head:
Some of these prefixes/suffixes have pretty wide values, the closer it is to perfect the better. as the mods get lower than perfect, the value of the value decreases exponentially. ie: 6% mfsc is worth maybe 1/4th of a 7%
Anyway, here is a list of charms that I ussually try to hang on to. check the items page for the range of values in the prefixes and suffixes.
MF sc.
fast walk run
faster hit recover
Skill charms
Vita sc (17-20 life)
Serpents sc (17-20 mana)
Resist all sc,lc,gc
9%-11% single element resist small charms
Max damage charms with AR.
toxic charms (100pdsc, 175 pdlc)
combinations of these attibutes drive the prices up like mad.
hope this helps.
