Tremak is right, go with CE. Throw in a little decrep if you have to.

Dear uncreativereally,

Aside from the jocular 'quickly!' I would chime in with what the others have said with a minor addition..

I like my clay golem. I mean, really. He's a great distractor, costs little mana, requires nothing aside from the previously-mentioned minor mana... did I mention that he's a great distractor and easily recastable? Well, that's what I've been doing when I encounter these 'knight-packs' that has an oblivion knight or two. I recast 'clay pidgeon' right next to those bad boys as a distractor, and while they're so busy cursing at him, they're ignoring the main battle.

In addition, I've noticed that Oblivion Knights tend to be rather cowardly and run away.. quickly! So, if you can cast Pidgeon in the right way, you can herd them in towards the main battle so that they can be quickly dealt with, either by melee or as has been said earlier, 'beeg-badda-boom!' Go doggy! Sickem! Git those oblivion knights! Heh, quicker than a border collie.

Otherwise, I've taken to boning them, either with spear or spirit (I use spear more because it'll 'impact' with the horde between me and the oblivion knight as well as the target), with the occassional wall or prison, another thing that requires no kernel of creation, but can get to be expensive in either mana or money. Those charges on Marrowwalks can get to be rather spendy to renew!

Well, these are my thoughts and experiences thus far. I hope they help. I know I've lost my might merc so many times recently, it's gone beyond ludicrous. No more than three seconds, really! IM >BAM!< Urgh! He's dun died again!

:grrr: And then people used to laugh at Necromancers.. uhm.. then tell me why are the foes that best mimic us are always the ones most feared? Can you say 'Nihlathak'?

My only question to you Patsy, is that an African clay pidgeon or a European clay pidgeon?

As a rule, i'll remove my mercs weapon for the cs, amp/attract everything, and depending on the amount of baddies my army is fighting, and how long into the fight before they get imed, its either ce, or just win the battle of attrition (sp?) and raise the lost skellys from the bodies. Knights never seem to give me much trouble, unless they're in the baal runs I do, in which case, merc keeps weapon on, and I may have to tp to revive him. Most times down there the im gets overridden by other curses so even thats not much of an issue

Patsy's strategy is quite effective for another reason he didn't mention, and it's the reason why I've been doing the same thing.

When in danger (as in when an "enemy" is near them), Oblivion Knights always cast decrepify.

CG in close proximity to OK's is good also because they switch from cursing and spell mode to melee... thereby distracting them furthur... A lvl 28 CE or 2 will quickly handle those othe OK's not involved in the battle....

Dim Vision works also.

Cast DV engage enemy and then amp to override... works for ranged attackers as well.

Pea, how do you want to use DV against OK's?

OKs aren't effected by AI curses :(
