Help me choose enigmas

I am making a bone necro pvp'er

i have 2 enigmas to choose from..

15% superior mage plate enigma (1071D)

or 14% superior breast plate 3os (didn't make enigma yet, but have all runes)

i have an 18 stat anni, so I can either leave str at base, and use breast plate, or put 19 more str in (after my anni + maras) to get 55 str for the mage plate.

so my question is, is the 19 str worth the extra 200 def i get from mage plate? or should i use BP enigma?

necros don't benifit as much from extra defense because they don't have any multipliers on it...so I'd go with the breast

let me elaborate on my situation.

my gear:
+2nec/20fcr/res/jah'd helm
maras
um'd darkforce
arachnids
hoto
trangs gloves
marrowwalks
2 sojs

mage plate enigma or bp enigma???

the problem with necs is, 1 vit = 2 life.. how crappy is that eh?

therefore.. the 19 str i will have to spend will in turn mean 38 less life with my cta around 80 less life. however i do get 200 more def...

but.. necs have bone armor, and more def is useless if my bone armor is intact..

see my dilemma?

19 str for 200 more def, but 80 less life..

or

base str for 200 less def, but 80 more life..

and finally.. mage plate looks so cool!!!!
