Greetings,

I am Agravane, founder and leader of Guild Medieval. I am posting here to inform those in search of a friendly and safe atmosphere to play, that there is such a place. Guild Medieval was founded shortly before the launch of Diablo 2. It’s goal was to create a community of players who loved the game but disliked the chaos that is so often found in open games. By bringing together people who shared the same values we have formed a special community that has not only survived, but thrived. What are these values you ask? They are the common ones such as playing without cheats, sharing and helping. We operate on East, West and Europe. We support normal, ladder, HC and HC ladder. We sponsor many events and we have regular password protected games that are always active.

ok well i send a PM to them, and also requested help sending an email to them from the admin, since they didn't want any email send from anyone else.

sounds like a good guild. anyone else found any similar nice guilds while we wait? :)

The site is down because the Host computers apparently lost much of their hardware, possibly to a power surge.


It will be up soon, I hope, and I had heard the guildmaster had moved the forums to a temp site on boardgamers.com, but have not managed to log on yet.

As a regular there, I can say, I have never seen it down this long, even when targeted by hackers.

But what Agravane failed to state was, Guild Medieval is the most active in USEast, with a group, including myself, on West, and another large group on Europe, with many gamers there whom prefer Hardcore.

My apologies everyone. I went away on vacation just before the site went down. I am not back and working to get it up and running. Will take some time as I am switching from asp to php and I dont know much about php :( but from what my host is telling me it is a lot more stable for active sites such as ours. Again I apologize for the downtime and I ask that you check with us regularly as It will be up as soon as possible.

yep!

most of the new guilds and clans are just run by rude greedy kids or worse, some set up to get your password or lure you with some free items to increase their member count.

it's really sad. i hope i can join this guild and enjoy the game once more with people that share similiar interests and mutual maturity. it's getting lonely soloing or going around helping kids that are too egotistic to say a simple 'thank you'.

anyway, hope to see the website up and running soon =)

furnut you are correct in saying that most of the new clans are just around because they realize they cant do it alone

respectable guilds have been around for more then a year and have flourished playing legit while all the fly by night ebay///nonlegit clans fall by the wayside.

to find a group of mature players to game with is a blessing

This sounds like something I want into. I'v been playing for awhile and I am very tired of the open public games, I like the idea of working with people who want to organized under these ideals. There are way to many rude people on B.net. While the sites not up maybe we can get some info in-game?

Missed the site more than I had supposed....

I'm still getting a "service Unavaiable", I've done all the tech stuff, (clear cache, changed proxy's, shift+reload etc.) But I'm still getting it..

oh well, I'll keep trying.
