i was dueling in a pubbie duel with my bone necro, owning as usual;) and i came across a druid who put up a very strong fight with my 6k bs 125 fcr 2.8k life necro (marrowalk bug yes i know) .I hit the druid a good 5-6 times with my spear and he still had life left.I queryied the fellow and he told me of how he had 9k life. To me 9k life is stupid and didnt think it could be reached how the hell did he get to such a high fortiditude of vitality!

I think he is also a no-blocking druid. In pub games, I'd dueled 2 or 3 wind druids that I consistently needed 4 hammers to kill; that translates to about 7k-9k life.

what type of druid? if it were a shapeshifter I wouldnt be suprised but 9k on a wind druid Id be flipping over crying :)
wind druids.. blah... life on them is only more margin for mistakes, doesnt really help much past a point, the build is inherently flawed to get beaten by necros, barbs, fire sorcs, ww sin, trapsin, uh what else....
they're just characters that rely on other people's standing still for a half second longer than they should, if the other person just moves nonstop wind druids really dont hurt much :P the only thing i'd expect a wind druid to have an advantage over is paladin or bowzon, otherwise, more life is just one more BS or one more hammer or 2 more seconds of standing in a ww that would kill you anyway. if u actually got them into tornados, then they're dead and cant shoot back that well, plus minion stack, so life isnt such a big deal

i seriously doubt it unless he was using 20 life scs and maybe bo boosting from a barb. and probalsy base str base dex build with like 4 jahed shield i havnet' see a druid like that tho.
well he was a wind druid and he was alone and if he could take 6 of my spears and still have quite a bit of life left he must have 9k life he had a storm sheild on so no 4 jah sheild heavily twaeked i expect

Yeah, my windy could have about 6.5k life if I were to get +40 life elemental GCs, and I have maxed block. I imagine a windy with 200 more vita = 400 more natural life could hit 8-9k after oak and bo with completey pimped out gear.
lol... just reread thread and... It's a wind druid so... that's really odd
Edit again: Just tried one on single player and had about 6.25k after BO from CTA so... he lied maybe? :scratch:

not sure about the windys, but as far as say, a wolf would go....if they use an inventory full of 3/xx/20 life smalls and full prebuff (level 40 ish ww/lycan), then they can hit 9k or more pretty easily, and this is without bo, which is highly overrated. there are a few druids I know of on east that hit 6.5k without a single point spent in vit. you heard it thats correct, no vit. if it were a vita wolf with a similar gear setup, I see 10k plus being very plausible, even more with a bear. As far as as a wind druid goes, uh....right? I don't see how, even with bo.

About wind druids, I don't know how they do it. On uswest ladder, I'd seen 2 or 3 wind druids whom I needed 4 hammers (at 14.3K damage each) to kill.
Btw, I'd seen several necros (one of them is on this forum) that could take 2 full hammers (one hammer only takes them to a little less than half life). So if a necro can have about 4k life, why can't a wind druid have 7-9K life?

whats yer equip set up?
20fcr 2 nec hlem, +1nec 17fcr 17 allres ammy sojs archnids trangs gloves wizzy honcumous marrows 6 bo cta +lids wall on switch with 5* 25+pb skillers and some nice life/mana life/res sc's whta you think do you ave a nec?

9k life wind druid is attainable. its a no dex, no str, all vit build, with all 505 points going into vit. prob need 10x40+ life Ele GCs, 9x20 life scs, and perfect Anni as well.
That+Pre-Buffed BO+Maxed Oak sage+Gear can prob get you 8-9k easily.

I did some calculations and my shifting wolf at level 95 with 10 40+life grand charms and his current (ladder) gear setup should reach ~12700 life.
