During E3 (may 12-14: this is wed-fri next week) the public are going to be allowed to play a demo version of guildwars. You'll be in the same game world as the dev's and testers as well :) Check the official site for more info if you want.

Sexy graphics. Runs flawlessly. Too many stupid mods, but if need be I can make a server. I have a decent connection

I played tribes for about 3 years...I was in a clan on the server type Renegades...Was a great game...Waiting for tribes vengence to come out.

The graphics aren't "sucky" for a game that was released in 1998. The game already has Tribes 2's models converted (the Conversion team did this: http://hosted.tribalwar.com/conversion/). If you want the player models, models for the packs, and terrain of T2, there you go. "New" graphics. People have even made hex edits and utilities that make the GUI aspect of Tribes much more better looking. Instead of having to rely on Palettes, Hudbot allows you to use 32-bit PNGs. T1 is infinitely better than T2, because of T2's lack-of-skill reliance on vehicles to actually play a damn map. T2 ruined skiing (and Classic mod was even worse trying to recreate the T1 competitive setting).
