But in all seriousness, I have managed to solo Duriel.

...with a Sorceress.

All that build-up, for nothing really at all.

This prolly isn't a big secret, but I'll pretend like it is anyway: the key is to use Blaze and run in a big circle. This goes much faster when your Blaze is level 11 like mine. That's right bizzles. I'm building a Blaze Sorc.

I am so done. Someone make the voices stop and take this coffee out of my hand (not in that order).

heh heh, good work! I just soloed him with my level 20 sorc..... who just happened to be enchanted (oh, dahkar, I stole your ravenclaw, I'll put it back tommorow afternoon :thumbsup: ) and dont worry, I always had a looter on my other computer, so I didnt risk it! Anywho, congratulations.

Ooooh, i also saw a sweeeeeet mid level dueling sword.. the rare legendsword, nice. Thanks! Oh, if you ever come back to east, i finally got a good sorc going, (well, leveling, but her gear is very good when she levels up) and I'm sure I can mf a bit and get you going!

I read a guide about this sort of thing waaaaaaaaay back in classic times. Havent really seen any blaze sorcs since (but i made one who couldnt kill jack diddly in 1.09 so the idea was abandoned :)

BTW, my strategy for soloing hell duriel w/ sorc was pretty much just lower resists, (charged wand) and static static, run awaaaaaaaay, revive merc, bliz, bliz ,bliz, HE's dead yaaay! Just cast a tp as soon as you get down there and dont hesitate to go back up if you get in trouble.

Yes, there's a guide out there on this site (or there was, as said waaaaaaaaaay back) for how to solo durry with a +x blaze staff and how to obtain the perfect speed so that she never charges you while staying out of her normal attack's range.

And I did do it that way myself, and died about 304897 times before the graphics even loaded on the P2 350 mhz comp with integrated video I was using back then...which was fun because you couldn't actually portal from her room so it involved a bunch of running from the WP ^_^
