The level 24 pally is a shockerdin and he's cheap too.

you find a 4 socket war sceptre with +3 holy shock and socket Eth Ral Ort Tal for 21-110 lighting damage and +3 Holy shock. Grand total be +6 holy shock. Get an eye of etlich or +1 offensive ammy, sigons shield, tarnhelm and stick one point in holy shock. Now you have level 10 HS. Coupled with 13 pts into resist lightning (starting at level 12 to 24) you get 156% added damage so that is 1044 max lighting dam per hit. add in 21-110 from the sceptre and its 1154 zappp per hit.

Rest of the points: 1 in holy shield for 2 fps block speed and added blocking (with + 3 HS you get a nice +block too and good duration), rest into zeal for extra AR, OR max sacrifice, 1 pt into zeal and a max dam armor for added physical damage (expensive but very nasty i guess)

Basically you can get 192 max lighting per zeal hit, 5 hits in a row, with twitch and deaths sash+gloves at a 10/5/5/5/5 zeal.

Sure, a full max dam zealot with clegs will do a lot of extra damage, but he's a lot more expensive too ^_^.

Very nice build :)
Have thought about it myself but got a tip from Jedi about an interesting ama around the same lvl (a little higher), so I go with that one instead.

Only difficult thing with this build must be to find the weapon. I imagine they don't exactly grow on trees ;)

Maybe just shop +3 HS ones and use the socket recipie for getting the 4 sockets? What is max number of socks on a War Sceptre? If 4 is max you can just use a socket quest and get it right away if shopped in hell or late NM.

/Magnus

edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the PvP reduction for elemental dmg 1/4? At least I've read that here somewhere.

*5k barb dies to 1 fire ball*

Where ever would you get that idea.

Blame it on Hakka's CS zon.

You know, an uber expensive build with loads of +maxes is very nice and all, but atm I neither have the mf-ers nor the tmie, and I never mf-ed much anyway so I suck at that. 95% of my gear was gifts, PvP gear included. Cheap, intelligent pk's can pull of surprises on the maphackers as well ^_^.

true true.

when I go into dueling games to watch I'm usually the most popular player there. everyone sees my crappy gear and wants to duel.

I don't usually get kills from duelers but I win a pretty high percentage considering. And its all from using and expanding on things I learn here from you and others.

sounds very nice, but where do you use that pally?
I guess he gets owned in duels and as to pk, everybody will get immediate thought of eth snapper and s/e as fast as they can

Lil more expensive, but would catch people off guard :
30 ish

Lower res wand/sigs on switch

+2 offensive aura sheild of deflecting (heh)
+2 offensive ammu
Sojs...(or what ever you want, maybe something with AR)
Peasent crown
Life armour (or +skills if you like. Even twitch is fun)
6 sheal dim blade ^^ ( Or a 5 socket +3 holy shock warscepter with sheals)
Sanders boots work.
Bloodfists

Swings pretty fast, does alot of lightnin damage and can cast lower res on opponents that turn out to be tough to crack
