need socket advice for stormlash scourage

well i finally got my frenzier to lvl 82, u may rememeber me asking for advice on him awhile back

so i shaeled my schaffers which is my other weap to make it faster, but according to the speed calc, the stormlash with my frenzy is alrdy fast enough and doesnt need a shael

so thats why i make this thread...the thing has an open socket...now i dont have uber jewels but i may be able to trade for something....i could ED jewel it or even amn the thing...i didnt know about an ed jewel though casue the dmg isnt uber high to begin with, and i only have 1 35+ ed jewel which is going in my arreats

im open to any advice here, as im kinna stuck

you could go for a +30 max jewel, or even a 15 res jewel if your resists are hurting

i would personally go for a 35+ / min

i second the amn suggestion.

most of my melee'rs (at least the few that i built) have problems with leech. the thing is, i always use cmoon as my ammy for the dual leech, but i understand that there are soooo many ammys better than it. putting an amn in your weapon decreases your need for life leech, so you have more variety for your weapon choices.

actually, if it weren't for rune costs, i would even suggest vex (as mana leech is a bigger problem than life leech, for the most part)

ok first off the amn idea i agree with you can always use more LL. i dont however agree with the mana leech idea the mana leech you can get on a cgrips or gaze is more then enough. depending on your gear so far if you have less then 15ll i would go with amn but if you have more i would throw in a ed/min jool. but thats just me.

I put a PSkull in mine because I didn't have any mana leech anywhere else. Dual leech is a sweet deal. If you have mana leech somewhere else, Amn is an awesome rune.

I wouldn't bother with ED/Max or anything that adds more damage because as a frenzier, it just doesn't matter that much. Your damage comes from high CB, DS, Static and other effects. The best runes would be Ber for CB, Lo for DS and Cham for its freezing effect as I see it. Even Mal (Prevent Monster Heal), Gul (AR) and Um (Open Wounds) aren't bad options, but again, all rather expensive.

The budget sockets would be Amn, P Skull and maybe something with elemental damage like a P Sapphire.
