Demon Machine question

I just found this crossbow, it has exploding arrow attack (dosn't tell the level) and piercing. I was wondering how these apply to a shifted druid? Also would it be a decent wepon for a furry druid?

The attack just turns melee like anything, no super cool explosion melee effect.

IMO this weapon is lacking in the damage department. With a 15 IAS jewel this should hit 5 frame fury, but pitiful damage. You'd be better off with a cheap and effective IK maul.

It would make a very nice hunter druid bow, but that's about it.

This is a bit OT, but I'm making an Enchantress and the enchant seems to add the fire damage to the explosion. Meaning everything in the explosion area of effect takes the extra enchant damage.

Despite it's low on weapon damage, the Demon Machine amplifies the effects of enchant and is *way* cool.

there are various effects which add to the splash damage on the bows that have it, however it ADDS it, not amplifies it. ;) stacking things onto the splash damge is what makes these type of weapons worthwhile for the hunter druid. :)
