So it begins again, unless it has been going on under my nose...

I was in a hell game and questing Diablo, when a zon starts spamming GA's. Not long ago, there was a post that discussed when things "just don't feel right". I got that feeling, and it felt like 1.09. I immediately teleported away and sure enough, the hostile alarm went off and xx was slain by Kuin. I saw him portal and hostile within the blink of an eye.

Char Name: Kuin
Account: shortbus. (with a period)

He claimed to be the reviving leader of the "clan that is not to be mentioned on these boards". He said their site would be up and running soon and that there were 70 plus trigger hackers running around from his clan.

Here is the funny as **** part... He said to ally with him and pay him to be added to a safe/no pk list... ROFL, pay the kid for your own safety. Pretty unbelieveable.

Anyway, I took screenies of the conversation plus his color hacking messages like "u just got pwned by **** **** clan, etc, etc, blah, blah" and emailed them to bliz in hopes of getting him banned. I guess we will see.

This was on USEast so as a courtesy, heads up and be careful.

My friend actually leveled his character for him since he dies so much. He uses a Windforce, and since Pierce doesn't work with GA anymore, you will only die if you suck.

Just give him a bad TP, he'll be too dumb to think twice.

And by the way, he's my clanmate. Kill him, I can't.
And he has really bad Binds(sayings I mean). He really needs to hit me up for some.

I just don't get how they can conceive the idea that they're "good" when they in fact have no control over their character's actions. Throw them in a LLD situation and they'll chicken out; either after MH'ing your gear or after you flux them at 75% life and their chicken mod saves their sorry butts. Triggers are the reason why I never really delved into HLD's, but LLD'ers still get the lamers and the occasional drophack...

lol that kid tried to pk me earlier I sat there and watch as the arrows hit my shield and laughed at his pathetic dmg (maybe 300 for 1 hit). I waited at wp for him to come down and naturally he didn't. Anyways after matt told me about bm chris talking about how godly he was and all I laughed at his statement to me. I still own you as I always have. My response was since when did you own me, got any lld that I can gladly remove their ears and he went on about he was making a 34 barb yada yada naturally would have nothing around the lvls I'm making as their entire clan is scared out of their wits by the legit godly duelers.

I thought that zon trigger didnt work anymore, along with hydras, hammers, and whatever else except bone spirit. Didnt blizz make it so they disappear when the hostile player goes to town? Any insight?

just new dmg of zons doesnt cut it
basically you need to kill in 1 arrow which is impossible unlike before
so people using trigger zons switched to trigger necs
couple days ago I watched a nec kill low-lvl sorc in norm cows
when we said lame he claimed he was just training for hell baals tppk
an assa didn belive him so he triggered her too a minute later
she promised to report him to blizz ....

Everyone knows that Smith r teh r0x0rz...he was the only thing worth watching throughout the course of Matrix 2/3.
Also, 1st matrix was NOT godly in any way, it had some "revolutionary" effects, but then again so did Final Fantasy...don't hear anyone with anything good to say about THAT movie do you? Not that it wasn't a good movie, but it really wasn't as special as some people seem to think =/

Bcause it had not only effects (even Charly angels have them) but some nice thoughts as well
I we look Mtrix as allusion to society (not reality) than it becomes very nice movie, whatever was its makers real intention
I got some nice ideas to my own feelings, cleared my position and got better compherension of life, no matter how funny that would be in realtion to visual effects movie
I said it was godly because it combined ideas with nice effects, thingmost movies lack (either effect and stupid - not to mention FF, either good but unable to attract mass viewer)

Matrix reloaded was so damned crud. Especially the ending. When the camera pans over Neo and the agent guy unconcious next to each other on the medical beds, the music that plays was so similar to cheesey 50's/60's action adventure series 'cliffhanger' ending music that I burst out laughing. Quite embarrassing really, seeing as I was in a cinema full of people. If you have the misfortune to have to watch that movie again, listen out for it. Guaranteed to make you chuckle.

Haven't seen revolutions yet. Probably won't bother.

And also, today my paly got Pked. I'm not sure what happened. We were in act1, bloodmoor, but quite a ways from town. Suddenly I see him run off, and I suddenly see a large line of bone spirits glide to me. I suddenly felt nervous, but I calmed myself think we were a good distance from town. Suddenly I died. I didn't see the hostility warning, or it could be I did, but it blinked real fast. Please explain what happened, because it feels like this relates to it.

Yea, also it was my first HCL char.

You were tppked. Basically guided arrow and bone spirit do not go away when people go to town. So the pker fires several your way then teleports to town and hits hostile quick. Then the guided arrows or bonespirits become live and can harm you.

A trigger pk just has a program that does the tp to town and hostile at the touch of one button which makes it a lot faster than can be done manually.

As to why people do it. A lot of it is because they can and some of it is because they enjoy seeing the reactions of people after the kill.

Thanks a lot, i'm a bit realized finding out what happened. I'm sure I know all the reason why people pk, yet the exceptionally cruel thing is, my paly was a cleric paly. A conciencious objecter (a coward, lol). What's the world coming to, killing innocent pacifists like myself -_-.

Has anyone else notice the rise in bone necro population. Doing nm baal runs they where flooded with them. One guy was spaming his and I went to the oppisite side, he followed me and I kept moving, finnally i left, but i heard he killed sombody else. Everygame starts with youre a pk, no im not conversation between players. Oh well.

It is also unfair for Bonemancer's that aren't actully PK's. Most games I'd enter with my Necro people would spam that I'm a pk or refuse to party with me....etc. It is an annoyence to level with my Necro now. :(

Reminds me of like when kids go into a store wearing a big coat in the middle of summer and hugely baggy clothes and get mad at the store owner for keeping an eye on them. they get all offended like the owner is prejudiced of the way they are dressed.

Well... duh. If you dress like you are some sort of crimnal or want to be a criminal or support criminals then it isn't unreasonable for the store owner to take that into consideration.

There are quite a few classes and sub-classes in LoD that are very fun and very effective. You show up in a Baalrun with the one build out there that the TPPKers are using to kill scores of people in Baalruns what else are they gonna think? :scratch:

Zons aren't a threat. Most sorcs can take atleast 2 arrows from them. As usual the combat classes have nothing to fear from them (druids cannot be trigged easily, and barbs are hard as well) while classes such as the Zon and dual claw asn also have relatively little to be afraid of. The only ones that are vulnerable are the necro and sorc.

If some one is a bone necro, I ask them to stay away from me. If they don't I do the pre-emptive thing and hostile them.

I think these random flamings by BM members are because when we're actually online playing diablo they can't get off a sentence without being squelched...with posts here we can't really ignore what they're saying!

And about these sccaarrrrry BM members...they're such chameleons; I talked to OhBoy about his childish posts in a previous thread here a few nights ago and he offered to bot items for me so he could "watch me duel again". Alot of the BM'ers I know tend to suck up to the legit people, although I can't understand why. People that are legit like myself, Helz, and Mr. DVS wouldn't be bothered to even talk to them, let alone befriend them. I wish they'd just stick to their ub3r pwnage forums and stay outta here!

HereComesABan / Chris ? ... you sound like one of the more legit BM players, (except for the bit about botting), so I would like hear your views if you can state them without antaganising the posters with your language. Attitude is fine, rudeness is not.

I only know of the BM debate based on what I read on this board, and I like to hear both sides on an arguement, before I make a personal opinion. I would welcome BM's side of the story, if it can be presented in a civil tone.

Syxx mate, legit BM = Oxymoron. Just think about them as being slightly less desirable than herpies.

You have got to laugh at their attitude though. It is weird how BM disappeared as a serious threat once all their little toys no longer worked (tppk/drophack etc), and now that they have managed to find a couple of skills they can use to tppk again they are suddenly back and "pwning all you noobs". Gimps.

Lol. Not all bm and especially cdc members cheat hack and such. Not all are juvinile. Some are extreamly good players. The problem with all these threads is it always drifts away from the individule actions to the whole.

Lastly one does not get baned for being a member of Bm in these forums, but by breaking the rules. Sadly lots of these members have become very hostile towards others.

Like Johnny said, you are about the most respectable BM member that I personally have dueled or talked to, but that really doesn't matter and that's what I've said to you right off when we first met. A BM member is still a BM member. I'm not (and I figure other posters in this forum) trailer park no life etc's...I have a life, I think you even know a bit about me through others, and other people on these forums probably have similar or more interesting lives. But anyway, you're in BM. You use triggers, you bot, you kill people illegitimately. I don't do any of those things...I take pride in killing people who play like that, that's the difference, and because of that we can't be the "buddies" you may have wanted. Perhaps outside of this virtual world things would be different, but geez...even when I play Euchre, Soccer, Ping Pong, Tennis...I don't like people who cheat! ( i dunno how you can cheat at some of those games but meh)

I assure you that minus the BM tag and the childish "I'm better than anyone" attitude things between us would've gone much better, and you'd be respected as a good dueler, because I've seen you LLD, and you're definately an experienced dueler.

As far as helping me create a dueler so that we could duel, I wasn't aware that you had that in mind. It seems sort of silly to help me build a pimped out dueler just so you could try and kill it. We've never dueled, and that was only because you wouldn't, I had no qualms from dueling you, since I knew you couldn't trigger me with a lvl14 asn :drool: Although this request is hard to understand or conclude whether it's a nice gesture or not; I'm outta this game, have been for a few months cold turkey and I'm proud of that fact...so it'll stay that way. Kime's taken my account and items, so if he completes a dueler to fight you, pretend he's me and try to "pwn" another legit dueler. However, I warn you, he's much better than me, which I doubt you realise! (except at TS asns... Camionaro was retired, never lost, never backed down...some stupid amount of ears on a mule from her wins, and YOU wouldn't duel her)

As far as cookies go, I tend to go for the right-outta-the-oven chocolate chip, or a chewy oatmeal raisin can hit the spot!

Been a while since I was posting here, although I see the moratorium is lifted, I guess Zappa thought this was now as much of an issue as I thought, none.

I moved on to new things, so I no longer run the D2 section of CDC. I hate to see people getting opinions like this though. :(

CDC is not in affiliated with BM, anymore than it is with any other guilds, that members came from to join CDC. We are made up of members from many guilds across D2, GAT, BtK, Misfits, and yes, BM.

However, I can say with full certainty, if I become aware of people cheating I do something about, as many "former" members of CDC can attest.

I look forward to seeing more of you in Guild Wars, seems like more of this community moves from D2 to GW each day.

i try to avoid these threads in general, just cause they're dumb, but there's some definite issues going on here i'd like to bring up-

independent of what other people/clan a person is associated with, please treat them with respect and decency until they prove to be an idiot themselves. And then please treat them with decency, if not respect. It's not acceptable in real life, and it's not acceptable here, to automatically judge a person without listening what they have to say and considering who THEY are. I'm not defending the actions of the two-fer tuesday (and reincarnations), but I don't (and I don't think the forum as a whole) approve of the automatic flaming of anyone who is/claims to be BM or CDC. There are clearly members of said groups that can act like adults, and whose ideas and opinions are very respected. Having played with several of them, I can also say that many of them are skillful players who don't haxor, cheatzor, or burn thesauri (thesauruses?).

And once someone does prove themselves to be racist, sexist, homophobic, and/or a just plain *******, please take the high road and don't feel the need to personally attack people. Attack their arguments, attack their thought processes, attack their avatars, but please don't attack their mothers, daughters, ages, glasses, etc etc... the ladder that you climb back up with gets shorter each time you go down another rung. So please- chill out and grow up.

Yeah, but the thing was that he was a botter who just aquired his items by leaving a program on, and although his gear made mine look like stuff I'd found while leveling, he couldn't do a thing to hurt me. And rolling the max damage, well it's your fault if you're on the receiving end of a 2-3 TS, so it just takes alot of practice. In that particular duel I doubt that guy even landed a 1 charged TS on me.

And Cooner; I guess this shows why Chris is one of the better BM's, he ended the flame war himself.

I apologize to you if I, in any way, have offended you. With regards to this thread, however, I was content to attempt a good-natured hijack until the racist and homophobic comments were made. In my books, the gloves are off at that point. I don't care who it is, if someone makes bigoted remark, I will say something about it and I will say it in a manner that will be sure to get the offender's attention. I have zero tolerance for that type of behavior.

Like yourself, I consider this to be an on-line home of sorts. In that context, you can be sure that I will, in whatever way I can, defend the integrity of this domain.

I personally couldn't care less how he plays his game. It is his approach and demeanor towards the forum members and moderators that I took exception to. As such, I responded in a way sure to get his attention and hopefully make him think about the consequences of his actions. He may be able to cheat and hack without fear of reprisal on bnet but while I'm a member of this forum, I will certainly take him or anyone to task for committing as serious a breach of etiquette as bigotry and homophobia.

OK look guys, it's not too difficult to figure out. If you don't know me I'm Tearmaker aka. DieEierVonSatan aka. Nig aka. former West Admin of BM. I am now the West leader of CDC. BM is now dead in my eyes, so I'll be as blunt as possible. BMPK in the later days of 1.09 sucked, with a few exceptions. The reason for this is our only goal was to cause as much havoc on the realms as possible. Which we did. Like it or not, which I'm sure the majority of you do not, that is simply a fact. We were the most well known PK'ers, and people feared and/or respected us. And by respect, I'm talking about the kind where they would never play in games with us.

So why did we suck toward the end of 1.09? Because it was far too easy to get in. As often as I've heard the arguement of "all you guys do is push a button", and defended against that arguement, it was for the most part true. If you could run a bot, press a button at the right time, and get fairly consistant kills, you were basically a member. It is important to realize however that we were not meant to be a PvP clan. We were a PK'ing clan. There is a HUGE difference.

PvP = legit dueling and/or legit PK'ing (ie. hostile and run to the target)
PK = getting the kill by ANY means nessecary

Anyways, this was all fine and dandy up until 1.10, when the method of running a bot and pressing a button no longer worked. The majority of our members quit, because most were not good players. Again, there are exceptions. Now that TPPK is back, old BM members are slowly coming back. Will BM come back with them? Probably not.

Why CDC was even brought up in this whole discussion, I have no idea. CDC is a 100% legit (mainly) PvM clan. BM was a 99% unlegit PK'ing clan. They have no relation whatsoever other than some former BM members now being a part of CDC, which as Seren mentioned is made up of BtK, Misfits, and even GAT.

BM deserves its slander as it earned it proudly and I dont consider any accusation as slander towards them.

BM and CDC are totally different but they are still tied together, and the actions of one will always taint the actions of another regardless of how legit they play as one and only illegit as another.

Every action by one person of a given group dirrectly reflects on that group as that person is an accepted individual of said group. If they are accepted by that group then they have chosen to accept what that person does or remove him from that group.

Regardless of what arguments you might use us can not 100% detach the actions of BM from CDC until BM is no longer attached in any way shape or form.

Now with all that said, CDC and its people have done a great job in my eyes of being about as legit as can be expected with I think only 1-2 problems that i know of that were delt with. The CDC people are not BM persay and most are very respectable players so dont let this child trun on all CDC people for his actions.

As for BM......regardless if they are "legit" or dont use the hacks, as long as they are BM they deserve the crap they get from people. Dont cry abotu it, dont whine, dont complain, dont try and defend yourself. Either deal with what you brought on yourself or change it.

BM is dead, it is only arising again because there is a trig that works otherwise it would remain dead. Its like a bunch of 50 yr old NBA Stars coming back to own the game because someone changed the rules so they can get free shots. Damn pathetic!

I might add that there is a BM/CDC discussion ban or whatever its called so let it go.

When I was younger, and got my very first Nintendo Entertainment System, I would play Super Mario Brothers all the time, eventually I figured out how to get 100's of lives by trapping a turtle shell on the stairs (exploited the game didnt I?)

I moved onto other nintendo games, Mega Man, Blaster Master, you name it, I had it.

The a product called the "Game Genie" came out, boy... I was frothing at the mouth to get my hands on that, and when I did, I played all my old games again with a new sense of Power... nothing could hurt me, I never ran outta ammo - I was a GOD in the Nintendo World - however thats obviously a hack, isnt it?

now now I know some of you will say "Online multiplayer cheating is a whole other catergory" well yes it is, I have never, or will ever endorse cheats in a multiplayer enviroment. I would be willing to bet my house that at least 80% of every single person here has at one time or another exploited and/or cheated at some computer/console type game in their life.

Some people change, some people do not. I cannot make any of you look at CDC in the way I would like you too, I have became very good friends with a few ex BM guys, that I was fighting with not to awful long ago, on these very forums.

anyways, I respect what any of you say about CDC, truly I do. But I ask others who know nothing about us or what we do, to make a decision for themselves concerning us and to try to not be persuaded by others comments, whether they are good or bad. I have good friends on both sides, and I am sure I have people on both sides who do not give a :rant: about me, that's their choice.

It's nice to see some familiar names, hope you all are doing well, and I know I will bee seeing some of you in GuildWars later this year, till then.

The big thing is we give them a chance in CDC and it has allowed several of them to out grow the more childish persona they had when just BM. Chris has definately matured. Yes he can still be a bit rough around the edges but overall I am happy to call him friend now.

Then you have people like Russ (diomedes) and Riley (phantom) that are now legit players.

If you look at the overall roster of CDC though the vast majority were not BM. Most of them that play D2 are legit players. And those that play other games are completely legit.

Yes you can point fingers at the BMers and stuff. For the most part those of us that are BM do deserve it for taking the easy road. But do not judge all of CDC based on the small portion that is also BM.

So now lets all have a :buddies: (except Dem he already had one too many ;)) and let the CDC = BM stuff go away. CDC = its own entity made up of ex or current BtK, GAT, Misfit, BM, + other groups from other games.

But is wholely different than loading up a 3rd party program, using IT ot kill people.. then have audacity to come here and say "IR 1337 haxor, #%*&%% everyone here, including the mod.... oh yeah, I apologize as long as you don't insult the ButtMaster clan I belong to." Seriously, these guys must have ate a LOT of glue in grade school.

As for the response about CDC, well, I exspected just that. IRL I have forgiven people that have done me wrong. I have not forgiven people that have done me wrong, then done it again, and done again intentionally trying to hurt me (hurt meaning physially, emontionally, financially, ect). Is this real life.. absolutely not, but that doesn't mean it doesn't pi$$ me off any less.

Some people just are not worthy of redemption in my eyes. Changed or not, scum is scum. You can dress it any way you want... it still scum, and always will be in my "gaming world."

Yeah, I guess you could call that banned in the act.

I wouldn't normally go to the trouble of actually deleting every post somebody makes, but when somebody threatens me with continually making accounts as quickly as I ban them, they also fire me up to go the extra mile just for them in return. It's easier to ban an account than it is to start a new one.

Ya RRN got his eraser out, snagged my last post and all of Dems posts......really shouldnt do that, when people are foolishly drunk they need to see the results as it may help them.

Well, I no longer commute the evil 405. I now commute the much evil-er 5! eww (actually 55-5-57... and no, that's not the combo to my vault). Godzilla (my bike) is as fast and insane as ever. Hows the HOG? ru enjoying V1.10?

*kicks dirt on ground* When the patch came out I tried real hard to make sure both accounts stayed active. I went to refresh and sadly the account with most of your mules had expired. But the account with the 99 sorc is still there, I just refreshed a week or so ago. Doubt I will every actually play them, I dont even play my own 1.09 characters anymore.

Hows your Yamazuki running? I'm working in the OC now and keep looking for a lime green streak down the 405 but no luck yet.

it was once a PK clan and even with some lame stuff like hydras they could of been respected and feard but those days are long gone and dead. They are just script kiddies. Spamm attack, hit button, someone dies, collect ear.

That doesnt deserve respect or fear and does not fit the definition of PK in my opinion and I am obviously not alone on this one!

The Harley is old but it's good. Just put in a rebuilt master cylinder and sexy new braded chrome break lines. And with new jeans day on fridays, its seeing more of the 405 than before.

Hehe, he is refering to D2 over all as the crack. Though from what I have heard everquest was worse in that respect heard several refer to it as EverCrack.

D2 is an additive game. For a while I thought I had finally broken free of it with my WC3 customs addiction but someone said hey want to try an untwinked team game (passing out the free sample to hook the person). Just 1-2 nights a week playing. At first yes that was all it was. No real desire to do more in 1.09 then this downloading patch message came up one day and found myself hooked again. :stoned:

Not to mention gas prices. My mom was complaining because gas prices hit 1.77 here in Mo I told her that is nothing compaired to the San Diego area where I used to live. What is it 2.25 or more down there now?

Americans still have the cheapest gas...yours is by the gallon; we go by litres in Canada. So...

4 litres = 1 gallon

Gas in Ottawa atm = 83.5 cents a litre and rising, multiply that by 4 = 3.34, then work out a 35% exchange with the American dollar...uh...I think that'd make it 2.49 dollars American per gallon here...alot more!

Guess that's our penalty for not going into Iraq... :cheesy:

(Oh, and in the Maritimes it's at least 10 cents higher on average.)

And yes, the price of gas does suck alot now. The gas station around the corner from my house used to be the cheapest place around and still is.

Although the price there is $1.83/Gallon, up from $1.55/Gallon about 2-3 months ago.

I've been really starting to feel the prices lately.

Sold my Tempo a while back and got a boniville. Nice car, fauxleather seats, in dash cd..etc. Too bad it eats right through a tank where as the tempo I had to fill up maybe once every 8 weeks

I feel your pain ... I had a nice little Nissan Sentra but after the 3rd time someone hit me my Dad flipped out - demanded the title sold my car and bought a tank ... did I mention I am 30?

(and yes they all hit me - heck the car was parked during 2 of those accidents, I think Nissan builds giant magnets into some of their cars ...)

Not sure if this qualifies as a trigger pk or not, but if any of you have been in any low level games like tristram runs or sewer runs on East, you probably have seen or heard about a sorc XWWWW... guy comes in, joins party, casts meteor and tp's back to town,hostiles and boom Deeds screen.Is that a trigger-pk?

It worked in 1.09, but as OO said it should be fixed now?

sorc xwwwwwwwx uses lightning to pk not meteor. He also uses the moduel so it is a tppk. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he had a few points into meteor I've heard many accounts from the people that died that he uses lightning.
