Shopped a LOT last night... results and 2 questions about my telezerker

Spent about half an hour at hell Charsi (looking for a damn ATOD for my telezerker to be) Found: Artisans towershield of equilribrium.
Spent the next hour or so shopping at hell larzuk, bought the following:

Artisans (3 socket) full plate mail of the whale (97 life) (Awesome for a honesudan WW'er)

Cruel Colossus sword of quickness: I had never shopped one before, and I was spending 98% of my time in the armors section after a jewelers of whale and an artisans towershield of deflecting, but I happened to hover over a red CS looking sword, and lo and behold, CCSoQ

Grandmasters thundermaul of carnage about 600 max dmg, figured some future telecro might want it.

Jewelers gothic plate of nova shield (no good 2nd mod, but DAMN thats a cool looking armor, BRIGHT blue!)

I SAW a jewelers of the squid (62 life) and was all excited... until I saw it was a field plate, limiting it to 2 sockets, so it was wasted :grrr:

Thats about it, a little over an hour and a half shopping is not too much, but its the most I've ever done.

2 questions about telezerker:
-Should I keep going until I find an ATOD or stick with the artisans T.S of equilibrium? Im thinking keep going (uugh)
-What armor: the artisans of the whale, the cool looking jewelers of nova shield, or keep going, and hope for a jewelers of__ (good second mod)

I've a thought on the armor question: Of course you should go with the artisan's of the whale. Why you say? Because you mentioned a Hone Sundan WWer. "of the whale" is lvl req 37 (if I'm not mistaken) and so is the Hone. Jeweler's would bring it up in the late 40's (47?) and then you are leaving the ultimate "Hone range".

So, go with that one and make us proud!

Yeah, but I am not a hone sudaner! I'm a telezerker, level 53, and I was wondering do I go with the 3 socket with huge life, or should I waste another 2 hours looking for a 4 socket with comperable life?

I suggest you keep looking for an ATSoD and Jewelers armor of the whale. Theres nothing secksier than 120% enhanced damage armor and 90% enhanced damage shield.

You will regret it if you use lesser gear. Take your time and Make a Sweet telezerker :thumbsup:

And if you dont find one...Try your hand at trading.

It's only 2 hours, I'm sure that getting that armor would more than pay for that 2 hours... assuming you can make one pop up in that 2 hours.

Yeah... thats basically what I was thinking too, just hoping I was missing somethiing, and everyone would say "oh yeah, 1 socket is nothing, go for it!" and I could not shop for another 2 hours ;) Thanks guys, after baseball practice, looks like its time for some shopping with my pal Larzuk.

Oh, am I right to assume that AToD's are most common at Charsi, and Jewelers of the whale are most common at hell larzuk? Maybe I can save some time this way... :scratch:

Also, Sip, I'm not a big trader, trying to avoid that... tried getting a MAL rune for my kingslayer last night, the guy proceeds to tell me I "owe him more" because he cubed it up from 18 lem runes, and when I showed him: Um'd guardian angel, reapers toll, eth smoke armor, CCSoQ and a 7% smfc, he replied "thats all?" (he was clearly refering to the quality, not the number of items I was showing him, I showed more than just that, but those are the highlights.) The only things he wanted were the CCSoQ and the 7% smfc, and after this little interaction, he told me that both of them together were not enough for his precious little MAL, and that "im leavin k?" I was fairly disgusted with trading at this point, so i just said "knock yourself out.." and left before he did, people like that are no fun to trade with. Oh, and he was also like "hurry up cmon slowass" (a direct quote) earlier... grrr...

Was I way off on my value or did he want too much (not an intense discussion, because this is the wrong forum, just someone pm me or something... because I think I was right, but I'm not 100% sure.)

trust me, spending even 8 more hours buying gear that is just a bit better will be all worth it once your dudler is made. if you dont use almost the best available gear you always end up thinking, if i had done this and that for just alittle bit longer, i would have like 200 more hp and 50 or so more max damage, so i could ahve probly killed that guy on the first try or whatever. trust me, i know from experience.
