When facing a pure ww barb with high ar that teleports would you just run and foh? or would you just smite them? and second of all if you did opt for the smite route, what weapon would be best? i've heard anything from redeemer, kingslayer, silence pb, multiple ber'd phase blade and others. No BM weapons btw. (ie. asterons, lacerator, doom, etc.)

If you had a 6 soc zerk axe lying around, a 2 shael, 2 um and 2 ber zerk would be my bet. Zerks have a range of 3 so that when they WW, they would also have to get within your range unless they use a pole axe. If they use a botd poleaxe with a 5 range though, kinda tough since it's damage is kinda punishing. When he whirlwinds in, press Shift+Smite so that you make full use of your range of 3, do not follow him after he passes you. Make sure you have your guy walking and if he is using a 2 handed weapon, try to get a charge in at the right time while still having walk on. Charge is not affected by whether you have fast runs, walk, run except vigor. Goodluck!

I would try to go and put defiance on if you synergized holyshield with maxing defiance and then go with a malice war axe or zerker. 100% open wounds and see if that can work for you.

A solution that doesn't break the bank.

lol i've got only 1 point into defiance, i don't think it'd be too helpful

Just run and foh. You won't get as many opportunities to hit if he teleports on top of you and ww. But if he does, what prevents you from taking the bm route?
