Hi guys

As everyone knows, the spring cleaning cleared all the posts in the forum. This thread is a revival of my "a challenge thread" before. basically peopl made characters with the best possible gear and dueled on opne/Ip games so that everyone can pit their dueling skills against other excellent duelers without the unfairness of gears etc

plz post here with ur ip when u are free to duel

also feel free to ask me any questions about open dueling or character/items editing

btw u should use hearty cord instead of String cause ll almost has no use in pvp

hey tridge, could you plz make a few alterations on my barb pls?

Instead of the charms i listed could you make my whole iventory filled with 290's(except 1 space, 1 space has an anni), instead of IK gaunts have ogre strength, and lastly-put some resist small charms in my stash

if you use valor vault 1.5, it basically has every item you're gonna want and you can edit them for perf. stats and an item creator for those items that it does not have ( odd magicals, etc.)

Bah, it appears that non-Amazon javelins are considered melee weapons, meaning they can have the above mods.

Before making an item, please check here (http://diablo2.ingame.de/spiel/expansion/itemdb/affix_index.php?lang=en&version=lod&patch=110). Select the base item, then click the "Show Affixes" button below.

thx infinite for sending me the necro, i put all the stuff u sent me into 1 folder. i can look at my necro through Hero Editor, but i cannot get it to load up on the tcp/ip character menu. Right now the files are blank, so i guess my question is how do i get my necromancer to actually load up? i can see all the items/charms you put on him but i cant seem to get him up on the tcp/ip character selection menu.

edit: also what program should i be using to open them? right now the file you sent me is (chrome-Dt.d2s) and when i click on it nothing happens.

first double click folder d2 is installed in u should see a folder inside called "save". copy the file (chrome-Dt.d2s) into that folder and start d2. u should see the character when u click single player, tcp/ip or open bnet

hero editor is too dumb to increase the life and mana for ya
u gotta use life per lvl * 98 + base life
u can check out the life/mana per lvl buy clicking the character name on the left of diabloii.net homepage

the use of items granting the "knockback" modifier are limited to as follows:
MELEE characters may use this modifier AT ALL TIMES
RANGED characters may use this modifier ONLY WHEN DUELING ANOTHER RANGED ATTACKER (the paladin skill "charge" will count as a ranged attack for this)

the use of hirelings, skeletons, and/or revives is banned

relenish life is capped at 25

the exploitation of items granting charges used for artificial skill synergy is banned

Hi all, I'd like to play some duels but I'm not sure how. I've never played over IP (except LAN). What do I have to do to join you? I'm fammiliar with Hero editor and I have a couple of chars I've bbuilt for testing, I guess I could try one of these (as far as my knowledge goes they are 'legit').

BTW I leave in Moscow and I'm using dial-up, will this be a problem?

Well, euhm, first time poster here in this thread :uhhuh:

i host duel games pretty much, mostly around 4-5 people in them... 1vs1, teams, free for alls etc.. but the point is, we are all single players and found all the items ourselves, buil dthe chars ourselves etc... what i see form this thread is that it are mostly battle.net players wanting to test a perfect char or build... anywayz, if anyone is interested, im Dutch, and usually play @ nights... if you p[lay legit, and dont use things like 39 3/20/20 ^_^ you are very welcome to join us in one of my games ;)

rules will be explained in the game if your first time joiner and we just dont chat or use hacks like colorhacks/maphack and the like...

practice is quite a bit easier than the real. on practice i got a 1250 and real I got a 1120. but im sure u know that by now :D

If you're using hero editor, simply open you char with it, right-click in your inventory, choose 'import' then choose the file item and... viola (I guess that's the way you spell it :))
